Not Celtic related but a close friend of mine from Hull is abit pissed of about them changing the name of Hull city AFC to Hull Tigers, what is the rest of the tims opinions on it and would we accept it at Celtic. Antony

Honestly think it sounds better a wee bit different, younger fans would rather say a support tigers than City it's more exciting. But then on the other hand a wouldn't like it if it was celtic getting renamed. Something like celtic stars

Think its quite a smart move by the guy. With English football being shown all round the world it gives them a bit of uniqueness. How many city, united etc, are there, I'm sure it'll give them a broader appeal especially in the likes of Asia. They'd soon change their minds if they ever visited the place right enough.

I'm with the Hull fans on this one. Just because a foreign buyer now owns the club does not give them the right to change & undermine the clubs history ffs! Celtic Tigers anyone? Didn't think so!

Rory@4 were the lions mate. And monkeybhoy there have been younger football fans forever and they've known and been happy calling their team city, wether manchester, hull or coventry, ., .kbarry

Glad you cleared that up K Barry would never have known there have young fans b4. Hypothetical question if there is a 5 year old who know nothing about football his dad asks him who do you want to support the "tigers" or "City". What's a 5 year olds answer gony be??? A dnt really care to be honest was just a bit of light hearted chat

And 1 more point were the Bhoys not lions, only the 67 team wer lions

8.) 25 Jan 2014
Yeah I see monkeybhoys point about youngsters. Would we not be the Celtic Celtics? Helps when your American aunty phones and says how is the Celtics getting on kid? Or the Glasgow Celtic harp? I prefer it the way it is.

Completely against it. Don't agree why an owner can come in and change a clubs history or heritage. Relocating Wimbledon to Milton Keynes, Cardiff's badge and colours, now Hull's name - where does it stop?!

10.) 25 Jan 2014
MonkeyBhoy, about #7 - I've heard a good few folk calling the current regime Lenny's Lions!
