Lennon's team selections and tactics continue to baffle me. Tonight may seem like a "nothing" game but it's far from it, this campaign has been nothing short of embarrassing and we should've been aiming to go out with our heads held high, ie fielding our strongest possible XI instead of picking fringe players. We've skelped Hearts 7-0 and Motherwell 5-0 (both away) and albeit tonight's a massive step up, but surely they players merited a chance to play at Camp Nou? I'm Sammy's biggest fan, but his form has been dreadful this season. For him, or any other player for that matter of fact, to come back from injury and walk in to the starting XI is an insult to the team! Surely it's up to the players who kept two successive clean sheets and scored 12 to lose their place?!

Completely agree HamiltonBhoy, Lennon continues to get his tactics wrong when it means something. Matthews is clearly not fit, Sammy has been awful for a while now. Commons is on a high after the last 2 games and he sits it out. That is only mentioning a few of the problems.

I believe Lennon has to take full responsibility for tonights hammering and explain his tactical decisions.

What the hell samaras is our most goalscorer in Europe another goal away from home tonight we got beat off barca because they wanted to win group and prove a point so if we won tonight you would be celebrating who cares what the score was we are rotten this season in champions league blame board for punting best players and replacing them with imposters

To the anon poster, I for one believe the board has really let Celtic fans down spending wise but they cannot be blamed for Lennon's tactical decisions tonight.

Basically Lennon decided that the formation and team he played tonight was better than the 7-0 and 5-0 winners from last 2 games, this is signs of a manager who is clueless on the biggest stage.

No defending Lennon tonight he has to hold his hands up for getting it horribly wrong.

@Anon As I said, I'm Sammy's biggest fan, BUT the bottom line is this: He hasn't signed a new deal, off form, doesn't look interested. He's served his purpose, time to move him on!
