This is becoming more of a farce every day, the way it’s going at the minute, the players will be turning back for pre season to be greeted by strachan and Kennedy again. For months now, Harkin’s name has been the main name mentioned, and now just over two weeks away, maloneys name is thrown into the ring, and he will be involved with Belgium for another two weeks. We heard over the weekend, that it was Harkin that had put forward the Aussies name, as he had links through the city group . To have no manager dof structure in place is completely amateurish, we have basically handed sevco next seasons title, and with it the champions league pot of money. Today’s report is that lawell is pulling the strings, who supposedly is off in a few weeks, I don’t believe he is going anywhere, why would a man that’s retiring still have so much pull? He was meant to be aiding a handover, yet he’s still making the major decisions, which the club will have to live with for the following season and beyond. The board have, all season acted slowly, and ignorantly, it would seem they still haven’t learned their lessons . After the ticket deadline we will then find out that we don’t have a decent budget to replace the outgoing first team players . I think we are in for a rough ride for a couple of years unfortunately .

Well we brought this on ourselves. We were miles ahead of sevco in every dept, but we let them overtake us its our own stupid fault.

They also reported that, one of the reasons the Howe deal collapsed was the firebomb at Lawwell’s house.
He was concerned about security.
Maybe Howe just didn’t have the stomach for the challenge after all.

Years of complacency and going cheap and hoping have caught up. Now they are going for another cheap punt to get us out of the hole cheap punts and hoping dug for us. The whole board need chased. It should be now, but it's coming. Because with all the money lost by never being prepared for the CL now sees us without a lot to piss in. That's down to Bonus Ball and his disastrous leadership. He seems to be actively putting a last spoke in our wheel before he fecks off. Cheers for that, don't ket the door hit you in the arse in the way out Peter.

Buzz, the firebomb was Howe's final get out ticket if all else failed.
I don't know if he actually said it although it has been reported on various websites. There could be a hundred reasons for the breakdown in talks with fault on one side or both sides. As you say, maybe he just didn't have the balls for the challenge when it came down to it. HH.

There’s now reports that Howe could be the favourite for the Everton job,
If Real Madrid get Ancelotti.
Everton is the club he supported as a boy and now it’s all starting to make sense.
