Scales will need to be careful after receiving his 9th league booking at Dundee.
He would need to receive another 3 bookings in his next 5 league games to gain a suspension.
If he gets his 12th yellow card against Hearts he will be suspended for the first game next season.

He should be okay.
Scales only received 8 cautions in his first 65 league games for Celtic before this season started.

Craig Halkett of Hearts is also on 9 yellow cards.
He’s already served a one match suspension after receiving 6 yellow cards before the 19 league games halfway stage.

After his one match suspension for 6 yellow cards, Halkett received a straight Red Card but then only got another one match suspension.
Trusty gets 2 Red Cards and gets a 4 match ban in total although he’s only received ONE yellow card all season.

I suppose that’s the rules but it’s poor discipline from the Hearts defender.

Scales is enigmatic. Can be really strong and effective, but prone to lapses and poor judgement.

Given how poor Maeda has been as a winger this season does anyone think Sarrachi might be a better option against St Mirren? He offers plenty going forward, can put in a shift and is for sure a better crosser than Maeda.

I think when he plays he brings some urgency and forward momentum to our play which this season has been sadly lacking. Probably not happen but can't see it being any worse than what we have tried.

I would have dropped maeda months ago only there's no one to replace him. I agree saracchi could be tried but i would prefer tierney on wing and sarrachi at lb
Tierney has a good burst of pace and can whip in some good crosses without needing to get to the byline. Saracchi has a better engine for lb.

KT used to be a left midfielder playing with the Development Squad. It was Ronny who put him back to LB.

What does everyone think of the latest GB statement?
I think the Board should apologise but I can’t see it.

 4

08 Apr 2026 20:32:40
Still no one charged with alleged assault, despite there being loads of potential witnesses and hundreds of CCTV, hand held cameras and phones to record it. 🤦.

08 Apr 2026 20:38:40
Personly I think it could have waited till after the run in. Be happy your back, support the team! Keep political issues till the summer.

Im not saying they were wrong? Or the board were right? But there is a time n place and its not now.

What if the board take a trump stance? We won? What if the gb take Iran stance? A ceasefire?

Personally I think they could have waited until their first day back was over. This could blow up exceptionally and hurt the team.

 3

08 Apr 2026 22:07:12
Agree Delbhoy, no sooner back and demanding an apology that's never going to come.

Lets get the team over the line then take up the fight with the board

Knew this would happen.

08 Apr 2026 23:26:17
They will never apologize buzz. We expected apologies at the agm and ended up getting talked down to like children from them.
They will be thinking the fans owe them a favour for allowing the GB back in.
Its telling that season ticket renewal is not far off. That will have played a massive part in the GB getting back in.

09 Apr 2026 05:19:44
WeeJoe it's reported that 4 men have been charged with the alleged assault that led to the GB being banned.

 1

09 Apr 2026 07:35:53
Greentree you are mistaken. The four men you mentioned all got charged with breach of the peace.

Itchynacho being back is a huge boost for me. The only forward that's looked remotely capable this season. We're creating chances. Just need a finisher. Hopefully he can stay fit and be the hero Gotham deserves.

Absolutely, mate. I think we can pull this one out the bag despite all our tribulations this season.

08 Apr 2026 11:56:01
Fat Sally going tonto at the future list a guess we should just play a game less at home to give his beloved sevco the advantage rather than play to the rules, shouldn't be surprised he knows all about cheating.

08 Apr 2026 13:11:41
He reads 1 of that lots cesspits of hate and plays to the gallery. A fat sleakit slug! He fine well knows we get 19 home 19 away the same as them.

08 Apr 2026 14:43:21
Was reading some of their comments on various sites and one poster was saying its blatant cheating giving Celtic one extra home game😂 and they were all agreeing with him, nobody put him right. I blame the schools.

Once a Slug - Always a Slug. One bitter wee current like so many more that the biased media outlets give a platform to spout pish.

08 Apr 2026 16:33:58
We played away 3 times in our first 5 games Aberdeen The tribute act and Killy. I Don't know how many they have played before us * 1 for our Buzz. Always hard done by that lot hence the perma-rage.

 2

08 Apr 2026 16:37:16
They have never been good with numbers.

 4

08 Apr 2026 16:39:45
The same with Hearts fan Ewan Cameron,
I seen a picture earlier day of the 576 Celtic fans when we clinched the title at Tynecastle in 2023 and there were loads of empty seats next to them in the same stand.
Hearts decided to allow empty seats instead of giving Celtic more than 576 tickets.
No sympathy and it’s came back to bite them.

 4

08 Apr 2026 17:01:35
Steff,
I only counted 7 league games we have played before them which is shocking.
They have played before us at least double that amount.
We have played at the same time more than usual due to both playing a few Sunday fixtures and then obviously the Glasgow Derby games.

Why is McCoist given so much oxygen to spout his nonsense.

Never ever bought into the cheeky chappie banter he comes away with.

My nephew says I don't like McCoist cause he is ex-Rangers but I think its because he is a bigoted clown.

And anyway my nephew is a closet hun lol.

See this safety advisory group who seemingly had a huge part to play in the ban of the GB ( according to our board ) is it just a safety advisory group in scotland for one club? Have this SAG done absolutely anything regarding the UB charging 3/ 4 the length of the pitch at Ibrox a few weeks back, not to mention the assault on the backroom staff.

 6

08 Apr 2026 17:09:24
Well said, bhoy!

08 Apr 2026 18:59:41
Think I read somewhere the SAG recommended a ban for UB but the beaks at the crumbledome just ignored them.

It's just the way they are!

Every Celtic player should be bursting a gut from now till the end of the season, our destiny is in our own hands, every player must stand and be counted,7 cup finals and with 4 at home with GB behind us let's get it done starting with St Mirren and get among the goals which could be crucial.

08 Apr 2026 09:38:23
Yeah we’ve self harmed this entire season and it couldn’t have been put on a plate for us better, with us playing effectively 1st next 3 games we could also apply pressure instead of having pressure of constant catch up, a real togetherness needed, I’d have injured players in around squad, I’d be meticulous about esch game and give each opponent the credit and respect we would give big games, we need players locked in …
For me Saturday needs to be statement win of intent, something we havnt done to anyone this season, something we can carry to semi and Falkirk game through to hibs, if we do that I think we go into derby game top of the league by a few points.

Problem is, the teams had the same opportunities previously to go take the league and didn’t.

Monumental task for the bhoys but if every player digs in and play to their best, we can do it. It's going to take some inspiring team talks by the master. We have the Champions mentality where as the other two don't. They are bottlers who have no experience in a title run in. Even when Sevco won it during the covid year, they had absolutely zero pressure from us or their toxic support.

Hearts to give them their due have capitalised on a very poor season from both us and Sevco but a top six run in is a very different kind of pressure starting on Saturday at home to Motherwell.
Too many of our support haven't experienced a last day title decider. It's nerve wracking but absolutely amazing if it's achieved!

The Club is pleased to confirm that a route has been found to lift the suspension of the Green Brigade with effect from Saturday’s game against St Mirren.

On March 27th, at a meeting of Glasgow City Council Safety Advisory Group, the Club again addressed the suspension on the Green Brigade. The SAG confirmed that it did not object to the suspension being lifted, subject to three conditions being satisfied.

These were that all applicable policies will be adhered to, including season ticket terms and conditions; agreement that members will comply with the safety and security operations; recognition that a match-by-match report will be submitted to the Safety Advisory Group, for as long as they deem it necessary.

We communicated this to the Green Brigade and asked for their unconditional acceptance. They have today responded positively by accepting these conditions, as outlined.

Celtic interim chairman, Brian Wilson, said: “I am pleased we have reached this point where suspensions can be lifted with the agreement of Glasgow City Council Safety Advisory Group on terms which apply to supporters throughout the stadium.

“On that basis, a full and united Celtic Park can get behind the team at this crucial point in the season. ".

Delighted to hear this, I feel we need the passion, noise, colour and non stop encouragement of the GB at this vital time. They will be back in force and everyone will know it. I'm all for a vibrant vocal and supportive GB.

07 Apr 2026 20:44:35
Hopefully they have a massive sack the board tifo planned for the weekend.

No before time now back the team to the finish line and forget the charlatans on the board till the season is over.

 2

08 Apr 2026 17:20:37
4 L C. Absolutely. I'm not a big fan of the GB, but they DO make a difference! They might just get us over the line, IF this team steps up to the plate!

On this date 25 Years ago,
Tommy Johnston scored the only goal against St. Mirren to clinch the title in Martin’s first season, on the way to winning our first Treble in over 30 Years.

While we all want to see Celtic finally come good and win this disastrous league campaign, it's not beyond the realms of possibility we could be 4 points behind Diets on last day, with Sevco also behind them. I'm sure a significant number of Celtic fans will be happy to lose to Diets to avoid Sevco winning league.

Imagine Beaton reffing our game, with Celtic needing to win to hand Sevco the league but Celtic not wanting to win. Now that would be worth seeing😂.

 6

07 Apr 2026 19:20:26
Multiple scenarios can unfold, imagine both us and Hertz being equal on points and the Sevs a point behind going into last game, with us and Hertz drawing with 5 mins to go and the Sevs leading, a draw no use to either of us🤯 a goal either way would take the title from the Sevs.

 3

07 Apr 2026 20:59:04
I have to capitalise. WHY IS EVERYONE AND THE SMM GETTING SO BENT OUT OF SHAPE ABOUT THE LAST GAME BEING A TITLE DECIDER. Bottle will shatter and hearts will be nowhere near winning the league by matchday 38. Ragers will beat them and the only thing they will be playing for is stopping us winning it.

 3

08 Apr 2026 08:58:17
The sclaff that won the league 🤣🤣.
