Didn't realise young Nisbet and kt have been close pals since back in the celtic youths, still think he'd do a job for us.

If we played 2 up top and ange wanted 4 strikers then Nisbet would maybe be a goer for me. But, with the focus on wingers/ number 8s in ange’s teams then we need to go and buy someone better than kyogo and have a Young player as striker number three.

Maeda, Abada both able to play upfront if needed.

A would rather have a striker rather than a winger trying to play the position.

Why have a young player as striker no3? A lot of folks on here wanted young Kenny as our 3rd striker at start of season. that absolutely gobsmacks me. With the cash we have we should have 3 top notch strikers rotating and on top of their game. 3 quality strikers in a squad of 25 ain't much to ask.

{Ed007's Note - So what striker worth any real quality is going to come and be happy to be 3rd choice, you think we should pay someone say £15k a week who is not even guaranteed to make the bench?
We can't keep 2 top strikers happy just now so what chance is there of us doing it with 3 of them chasing one spot? Ideally for me 3rd choice striker should be one of our youngsters or an older player who is happy to be at a big club & don't want silly money or will take a performance related wage structure.
It's a player that will only be used in emergency situations - like Bain.}

Ed. this goes back to the Sumnmer when I preached this. its NOT a 3rd choice striker. Its 3 strikers competing for a starting slot. The form striker plays. End of. . Transfer fees don't come out our pockets. Are you saying you'd turn down the Korean lad just so Johnny Kenny can be one of our 3 strikers? Absolute nonsense. If we want to be a CL club we need 3 top strikers, not a 3rd choice irish league kid.

{Ed007's Note - Is the Korean guy not coming as GG replacement, as back-up for Kyogo? You can say this all you want it still isn't the way football squads are structured, how many strikers are in the Real Madrid squad, the Barca squad - two - Man City one of the richest clubs in the world only have 2 main strikers and even they would struggle to sign another mega signing because ANYONE coming in knows if Haaland is fit he's playing, that's why Jesus left for Arsenal.
You might not agree with it but given the day that's in it that's how it works.
I really don't see Ange bringing in a 3rd striker btw, simply because I think he would have done by now, this is his 4th window.}

Perfect example is gg definitely not happy being 2nd fiddle, but we definitely need 2 good strikers as your one injury away from a crisis, and we should have a young player on bench learning his trade, remember guys like burchill and beattie were always about the first team.

Only mentioned maeda/ abada in terms of the 3rd/ 4th choice. Ideally we have

Kyogo
Other striker to challenge kyogo
Youngster
Abada/ Maeda/ …

The only unhappy player here should be either striker who isn't playing but there are enough minutes to go around. Then so long as we don't lose the first two at the same time to injury we are okay. Even if we did maeda could play there for a few months (if really needed, as he did so in Japan)

{Ed007's Note - That's the ideal scenario for me as well mate.}

Totally agree Ed. This guy Oh if he's coming, is coming in to replace GG but not Kyogo. Ange has openly said Kyogo is our main striker. If we have 2 first team ready strikers, why not give a youngster a chance to learn from them. Realistically if our 2 main strikers get injured at same time, we have Maeda or Abada to play through the middle, so we are in position where we could blood one of our own.
