So McInnes thinks McKenna is destined for 'bigger things' down south? Huddersfield or Bournemouth bigger aye? Reckons EPL teams will blow us out the water when it comes to offers. Sounds a touch salty and presumptuous I think.

We lost out on mginn through penny pinching to villa . Aberdeen want more than hibs did so they don't need to blow us out the water as we won't even go in the water.

While I realize our board has been penny pinching, what makes McInnes think EPL teams will be willing to spend millions and millions on an Aberdeen player, given the lowly opinion of Scottish football by the majority down south? What if McKenna has a poor season, they may be left rueing turning down the reported 3.5million, a huge amount for them.

It's not even a debate; The record between two Scots clubs is probably £4/ 5m and Scottish clubs are the poor relations in the British transfer market, while English top two division clubs can not only match/ better any bids we make, but offer many times our wages.
