Looks likely that Fraser Forster is headed for the exit door at Southampton after becoming 3rd choice GK.

I think it would be great business if we could bring him back to Parkhead. He would easily be our number 1 choice, he has loads of experience and is 30 which, for a GK, means he has still has years left in him. I reckon we would get him on the cheap as well.

Not a huge fan of bringing back players who chose to leave. However I’d be excited about this, anything to get Gordon out the goal.

Can’t see it though, I imagine another prem team will take a punt on him. And nobody at Celtic seems to identify GK as a weak spot😕.

Kevbhoy, Gordon was terrible with the ball at his feet before Rodgers came in but he's progressed and got better at it.

Forster is an all round better GK imo, and could fulfil that position for next 4/ 5 years.

There’s a reason he’s 3rd choice now he’s over rated and like Gordon jumps down the way I’d still rather have CG and that says it all as I’m not his biggest fan.

There is a reason why Forrester is third choice for Southampton and that doesn't give me much hope that he could be first choice with us .
I think if he had stayed with us he would still be rated in the top 3/ 4 English goalkeepers .
