Our severe defensive deficiencies were glossed over against Barcelona because of their standard, but once again we lose more very soft goals to an average team in a game we dominate for almost 90 mins.
OK it's the first league points dropped, but it was unnecessary and self inflicted.
It's obvious we won't score four and five goals every week, (even when we create a dozen chances like today) ; but it's also obvious we have a real goalkeeping crisis and inability to defend all over the pitch, whether it's chasing back, covering, tackling and most importantly defending set pieces.
There is a lot to appreciate in the attacking side - even though we missed a hat-full today, but we will drop more points and worse if we don't sort this out quickly?
I don't know if this is relevant, but what does John Kennedy do at the club these days by the way?

11 in 67

I said something similar earlier in the year. our shot to goal conceded ratio must be in the 40 to 50% region while our goal scoring is in the 5 to 10% region.

I don't expect us to win every game but both of these stats will have to improve or we will drop a lot more points. 2 goals from 23 chances isn't good enough.

11/ 67: what team are you actually managing? Analysis is tight (as is the communication) .

Jamesbhoy, I don't know why he is there. My point for saying that is I firmly belive that this is the biggest club he will ever work for even at his young coaching age.

Do u think there is any chance that we are making Ambrose replacement by throwing all the abuse we can muster at a goal keeper who has only played a few matches . I don't know about you, but I would like to see him settle down in his new team and play well.
