Lunin has still played about 20 competitive games in the last couple of years for club and Country.

His contract expires in June 2024.
His best years are definitely ahead of him.

The best years of any goalkeeper when he is 24 are ahead of him, but the best yrs of someone sitting on bench may not be any good. Kellagher at L’pool can play well, but he has had very shaky games for Ireland . I would rather we went for a goalie who has played 40 + games per season for at least a couple of seasons and can be relied not to make stupid mistakes.
