Nick Hammond confirmed as head scout from 1st July on an advisory basis with a view to making it permanent if we recruit well . hopefully a sign of things to come.

I'm more a fan of recruitment which identifies quality and people with talent for the job as opposed to having the ability to shift crap easily. Short term summer trials are for seasonal workers and fruit pickers. Bit retrospective recruiting a person to progress summer targets in July. What happened to congertons work?

Apparently Christopher Jullien is waiting for offers from England and Spain before he commits to anything regarding celtic, does that mean we've made a bid or is just hypothetical at this stage?
If this didn't go through id like to see us go for the likes of Ryan Porteous from Hibs, he seems a good player, physical, fast and good with the ball at his feet.

First time poster, enjoy reading the rumours, keep up the good work.
I know it is a long shot however I think the use of the word ‘Champion’ in Toure’s agents twitter post may be a hint at his likely destination. None of the teams mentioned so far are champions, other than Celtic. Whilst I realise it would take a significant drop in wages for him to come to Celtic, I think there may be something in it.
Or i’m over thinking the post and talking complete garbage 😂🤣.

Any word on Frimpong this morning? Heard Lenny said there's a good chance he'd be grand for the weekend and it wasn't as bad as it seemed, hopefully that's the case . I honestly thought it was a solid tackle at first glance, but looking back Power came in off the ground and his traling leg knocked Frimpong in the knee, hopefully it isn't ligament damage, and we get some positive news on it soon.

Looking to next season and strengthening in the summer, not to sound too optimistic its not as bad as its made out.
If we get Benkovic back on loan, we would maybe only need 3 or 4 decent signings to really kick on for next season
Goalkeeper isn't an issue.
RB we've Lustig (if he stays) and Ralston, so could do with strengthening there.
CB could be less of a priority if Benkovic stays another season.
Its safe to say Hayes is a decent stand in for KT, but would be good to have another option, or a more natural defender.
Midfield is strong - Broonie, Ntcham, Calmac, Rogic, Forrest, Sinclair, Johnston, Dembele, Hendo, Arzani and Shved.
With Griff and Bayo coming back for this season it looks a lot better than is made out. HH.

Think we need 4 minimum.
We need at least 1 RB, if Lennon is going to give Ralston more game time then great, but we need someone as an established RB to come in and start.
We need 1, preferably 2 CB, Simo and Ajer have been great but Simo is too injury prone, id be happy to see Benkovic back on loan for this season, and either Mckenna or Jullien come in too.
A natural Lb to cover KT is vital too, Hayes does well when he comes in but can struggle at times, especially against natural wingers.
If we can sort these out then anything after is a bonus, maybe the young guy from Bolton, Luca Connell with an eye to the future and if the board were feeling generous bring in another striker, maybe a target man type player along the lines of Ikpeazu from Hearts,

it looks like the Toljan deal will have an option to buy in the summer so hopefully he has a good few months and we can get him tied down permanently in the summer.
