See the stuff foke make up is a joke nae chance is he coming in.

2.) 21 Jun 2017 10:05:06
I would take him on a permanent deal but we shouldn't be signing anyone on loan in my opinion.

3.) 21 Jun 2017 10:57:03
Should only sign on loan if there is an option to buy in the deal.

4.) 22 Jun 2017 14:14:26
Yeah all these potential links cringing, better off not looking at these links, just the media taking the piss.

Everyone knows we need at least one cb maybe 2. Why are always dragging our heels. Hibs want a price for mcginn, pay it get him in, get them and up to speed instead of waiting on people leaving and it too late.

Been reading the various posts regarding McGinn, why should we pay the £4m when he is in the final year of his contract, no club would fork out that amount for a player under those circumstances . I don’t think he is the player everyone is raving about just my opinion. oldkilly.

2.) 20 Jul 2018 22:12:38
We don’t. We have 5 already. That’s absolutely plenty. Ajer and Boyata will be first choice I’d imagine and I think that’s a pretty decent pairing. We’d need to get rid of Compper or Jozo before bringing anyone else in.

3.) 20 Jul 2018 23:43:11
Armstrong comes to mind.
We got 7m for him and he only had a year on his contract.
Starting to believe other posters about making the same old mistakes and leaving it all to late.
What happens if boyata doesn't sign a new contract and Jozo decides to go to turkey. Do we go with Ajer and Hendrie for the rest of the season?
We should be building but right now we are weaker than last season. Hope im wrong.

I am not being biased, but is Tom Rogic the most skillful player in Scotland right now. Close control is just amazing.

delstarr76

1.) 19 Aug 2017 20:58:18
The cash he takes the ball on the turn is a thing of beauty.

2.) 19 Aug 2017 21:16:44
Big Tom is superb a lot of talk about us needing a new creative mid "number 10 role"when linked with musonda etc which I don't think was a priority when we have rogic his 2 assists today were quality if he stays injury free he'll be a contender for player of year.

3.) 19 Aug 2017 21:21:26
I'd say he was delstarr, aye. A joy to watch.

4.) 19 Aug 2017 22:10:10
I love the guy! Honestly think he's the best player in that team and he's going to show it this year. and he's a hard working creative player and his vision unreal!

5.) 19 Aug 2017 22:31:53
The Aussie Zidane is just class. What a squad we have here. We have around 20 players that can all comfortably play in the first team to a very high standard. 😁.

6.) 19 Aug 2017 22:35:09
Hope we can get him on a new long term deal there's not many players like him. A stand out today.

7.) 20 Aug 2017 21:46:43
Never seen the game but if rogic can stay fit for the full season and we keep the form up we'll match anyone home or away in Europe, we certainly won't be on the receiving end of a doing fae anyone, looking forward to seeing us in full flow against the big guns.

20 Jul 2017 22:24:59
Just wanting to gauge opinions here But with our club getting in trouble again because of banners. Do you want the banners or not. For me no, don't need them in our wonderful, for me makes us look so prehistoric. We are better than that.

delstarr76

{Ed007's Note - It was a banner, singular.}

1.) 20 Jul 2017 22:45:43
nothing in football compares to the green brigades displays when they get it right and they do most times.

2.) 20 Jul 2017 22:57:29
Ban the banners ban the pyrotechnics ban the songs ban the half time draw. Ban those that are easily offended might not be everyone's cup of tea but a thought the singing was fantastic last night.

3.) 20 Jul 2017 23:05:07
Stop pandering to the hypocrites with posts like that have you actually been truly offended by any of the banners or you just one of these political correctness gone mad types of people.

4.) 20 Jul 2017 23:11:52
I agree that The Green Brigade have done some wonderful displays and are very talented but I feel that the banner on Wednesday was deliberately provocative and not funny. I grew up in Belfast and my family were intimidated from our home in 1971 and I had an uncle killed on active service and as a result of the troubles I have lost friends, both catholic and protestant. Yesterday was the 20th anniversary of the ceasefire and I don't believe the banner was a good way to celebrate that. I believe that for loyalists or orange men to criticize the banner is extremely hypocritical but it saddens me a little that we stoop to their depths. Having said this I hope the Green Brigade continue to entertain us and animate the stadium. let's not become what we hate, let's get over it, pay the fines and give Rosenberg a football lesson next week.

5.) 20 Jul 2017 23:15:35
Don't know what you mean by political correctness,

6.) 20 Jul 2017 23:42:03
All banners should now be shown to club officials before any game.
If they club ok them then that's fine but if club think they are inappropriate then they don't get unfurled.
Anyone unfurling unauthorised banners lose their season tickets.
That would sort it out.

{Ed007's Note - Anyone unfurling unauthorised banners has to get 'King Billy Would Have Loved This Piece' tattooed on his arse, hold a flare AND a green smoke bomb on the penalty spot during the next game at Ibrox while singing the well known IRA anthem The Streets of New York or lose their season ticket and be banned from participating in the Celtic Pools and buying the Celtic View.}

7.) 20 Jul 2017 23:54:23
Political correctness is a form of obsessive madness as far as im concerned. However our club and its stadium have rules, read them and practice them wisely i say. Keep the banners about Celtic and our glorious history and don't give the scum an excuse. The GB are incredible in full flow, but the odd time they cross over to an uncomfortable level, just need to keep the heid and keep it Celtic.

{Ed007's Note - I can easily supply Tena that can deal with a 'full flow' ;)

8.) 20 Jul 2017 23:25:48
It's a case of knowing it will get the club into trouble it wouldn't surprise me if the gb section gets closed by UEFA if we get into the playoff when I saw the banner I was angry because I knew UEFA would hit the club.

9.) 21 Jul 2017 00:12:30
i love the streets of new york, it reminds me of my teens watching the wolfies at the apollo, barras.

10.) 21 Jul 2017 00:11:00
Ed you talk about tena and all that but the truth is that this sort of thing is hurting our club.
Everyone knew that we were going to be in trouble for that banner the minute we seen it.
Whoever made it knew they would get the club in trouble.
Wether we agree or disagree with the rules they are the rule.
Will you still be talking about tena if they shut part of the stadium?

{Ed007's Note - I said the exact same on another thread, Kev. UEFA won't close a part of the stadium over some banners though, that's just scaremongering. As I said on the other thread it'll be another slap on the wrist fine and TRIFC fans will talk about it more than Celtic fans, it's really not that big a deal.
And as for hurting our club, did the Palestinian display hurt our club, the tifos for anniversaries etc? People are more concerned about who's upset and offended, oh look there's TRIFC fans offended by banners - who cares? If it wasn't that it would be something else, let them get on with it. Wasn't what happened to Aberdeen fans in Bosnia more important, I wonder if Aberdeen and Bosnia fans forums are talking about a banner at Celtic Park?
Again, Kev, this really isn't a big deal.}

11.) 21 Jul 2017 09:02:21
That's a lot of people's point though ed. The green brigade bring a lot of good things like the tifos but let themselves down with this kind of thing.
Eventually the club is going to say enough is enough and ban them from doing anything.
I personally believe that would be a shame because some of it is great.

{Ed007's Note - It'll be sad to see Grace being scrapped from the supporters songbook, after all we don't want to upset anyone by singing any songs about Irish history.
It's about time Celtic grew a set of balls and fought back against these never ending trumped up charges. When we played Inter a couple of years ago both sets of fans let off flares yet we were the only ones charged and subsequently fined, why weren't the Italians? Would UEFA have let a Real Madrid match be moved because of an anti-Catholic 'celebration', would Ronaldo or Messi be booked for having a bottle threw at them?
You're going on about a GB banner but how many charges over the 2 legs has the Club caused, FOUR! LG's shocking charge for tying a scarf to a goalpost (again, would Ronaldo or Messi have bern charged?), 5 players being booked in a match with one of them being LG's shocking booking, then there's the bib nonsense and blocking stair stuff - so have you e-mailed the Club to complain about their conduct and receiving these charges, fines and LG's ban?}

12.) 21 Jul 2017 11:54:52
I will never see eye to eye politically with the GB but after having an encounter with those rabid vermin on the London Rd good on them I hope "that banner" got right under their skin anyway I thought noiseing up opposition fans was part of football . my bad.

{Ed007's Note - My nephew said a fair amount of them on London Road had Scottish accents and there were a lot of Cockney Geezers in there too.}

13.) 21 Jul 2017 13:13:13
Ed, Perfect response to all this hysteria. We as a Club are been singled out by Football Authorities in and out of Scotland. We know why that is in our own sad and bigoted Country but Uefa. well they are simply a corrupt dysfunctional, self serving band of white males who see fit to criticise and prosecute a Great Club like ours. While gorging themselves in all sorts of troughs. hypocrites.

14.) 21 Jul 2017 13:28:47
Ed av said the same on another thread that eufa should be more concerned with fans being attacked in the streets and clubs fans being advised for there own safety that they'll not be able to attend a match because certain club fans can't be trusted. but no they fine us for a banner football is a working class sport and a coming together of fans you are always gonny get this and i see nothing wrong with it. a mean av seen footage of ladt night at the proms and whos to say am not offended or the singing at the rugby its all bollocks.

15.) 21 Jul 2017 13:06:51
Ed's right here, (Plus am his official TENA supplier ) I got pelter"s on here for saying RD would get done for the "roar" thinking they would do him eventually but it never happened he sought police advice on it (one of his cleverer stroke's) and at the end of the day it was an outsider CELEBRATING!

Years ago that Hibs coloured goalie on loan from Chelsea would walk around his entire goal frame blessing it and praying nobody said a peep to him can't be the same said for Boruc though Eh?

The beaks are selective LG getting booked for that? Did Souness give a toss when he planted the flag in Turkey?

Celebrations/ Wind ups part n parcel of the game

Did the green brigade not pay a fine Ed somewhere?

At the end of the day in modern day times if the club wanted them caught it would be pretty easy with people onn the ground / cameras and move on

As long as no one is getting hurt! Sticks and Stones .

16.) 21 Jul 2017 14:22:07
Uefa won't be happy till fans are sitting on there hands sooking a sweetie unless your an elite club you know from one of the big 5 countries crooked as fifa.

17.) 21 Jul 2017 21:11:52

Not a rumour, just a question Instead of looking at all these mangers that you really don't want. Could celtic not try and tempt mjallby to stay. None of the names so far are causing any excitement right now.

In the papers and on here as well. So this is what we have become, sign 2 Unknown’s and send one to Nashville fc and god knows who. The team needs a boost now not next year or the year after.
