Anyone else noticed its only rodgers compo money that's been spent.

Money is money mate, for me there still needs to be more of it spent. for me we need a creative midfielder, a striker and definitely another RB. don’t want to be too critical of the boy from Israel coming in but I’d sonnet have a quality out and out RB in that position permanently than a utility player that plays more at CB than RB.

Also mate it’s not factually correct, to my thinking we got £9 million for Rodgers and his staff going. We’ve spent a reported £7million on Jullien, £3 million on Bolingoli, we’re spending £2 million on the boy from Israel, we offered over £3 million for turnbull ( outwith celtics control that one) , and I reckon we’re still to see more comings.

Even though I'd love him to stay - I sincerely hope we are not waiting on the sale of KT to fund any more deals?
With possible interest for Siunovic, Ntcham and even Rogic being mentioned recently, ideally, we should sell now to generate cash.
After all it may be that Arsenal are playing a waiting game until the last minute, so we need to take care of our needs first and foremost.

OAB the English window shuts on the 8th of August of they need to get it done sooner than later.
Looks like the board should just announce that we are pulling out of CL because according to loads of fans on here we are pretty much out anyway.

I feel a bit underwhelmed with our business to be honest, as much as we have bids for players gone in the fact is we have only spent the money from Rogers and his team plus three million. Who’s to say if the turnbull deal went through that may have potentially put us of bidding for Julien? With what seems to be the impending sale of at least kt, and rumours that calmac, Rogic and Ntcham will potentially be off can anyone say we will come out of this window stronger. One of my fears when we went for Lennie is that he would end up being sold cheap by Peter . Lennie said whether he got the job or not the team needed major work, I would have thought by that statement he meant an injection of quality not selling off our best assets. Also this fascination with Dudu Dahan seems a bit strange. Apart from Kayal not many of his players have been successes with us, yet we still listen to him and take his clients. If we sell of it, and maybe one or two of the players I mentioned earlier I feel we are giving the people a massive chance to stop is with 9, which considering our financial position would be an utter disaster.

Think the point most fans or certainly the ones commenting on this is they’re fed up season after season with the time it takes us to get deals done. granted Jullien, Bolingoli have came in and the boy from Israel looks all but done but there’s other areas needing sorted. Every season we all come on here stating where we think needs sorted out we’ll in advance of the champions league qualifiers yet season after season we watch us go through these qualifiers saying “ right that’s that one done, will we sign someone before the next deadline and so on so forth. would be nice if we could be act more pro active in the market. I mean it’s getting to the stage where even fans are conjuring up fiction headlines for the papers such is the lack of real activity by us.

Think it’s a fair point from bhoyo. we go up against a half decent outfit with that patched up defence and we’ll struggle it’s as simple as that! But it was the same story last year and the year before that! We always go into these qualifiers with one tied behind our backs!

The board never seem to learn with regards to the qualifiers. Speculate to accumulate is an option they don’t like, they would rather gamble and see how we go in the qualifiers . It’s cost the club millions the last couple of seasons, I appreciate spending on 3/ 4 good players doesn’t guarantee it, it would give us more of a chance . The managers aren’t exempt either for what is a pivotal time in our season.

With all these qualifiers before us we are looked upon as a Europa league side and its up to our hierarchy to deliver the quality we need to progress we as supporters never let our club down time for our board to show the same commitment.

I don't think of the money we have or will spend on players but for me we are still short of quality to get into the CL And I think we should be further forward in getting the team sorted by now Considering the window has been open for some time and we should have had a list of players that were excusable and the quality that we need and can afford.
