What's all this nonsense I'm reading about eddy wanting to move on this month!? Please tell me it's all lies!

Just asked him mate, he says he's staying.

2.) 08 Jan 2020 08:58:52

See Southampton have named there price for elyonoussi. hope we go for him.

Samm1888

1.) 20 Nov 2019 16:56:56
What's their price?

2.) 20 Nov 2019 17:30:48
10 million and on big wages. Compared to our budget doudt it will happen. Unless its paid over 5yrs. Ed is that possible?

3.) 20 Nov 2019 17:47:15
Hope we pay it. he's been one of our many standouts so far this season.

4.) 20 Nov 2019 18:26:20
I expect that fee to go down if Southampton get relegated. Peter would push them for the 6-7m mark I reckon. His wages would be the issue, he’d have to take a sizeable cut to get near the squad. If we got rid of Sinclair and a couple others it would be possible but we would be reliant on sales rather than the price I assume.

5.) 20 Nov 2019 19:36:19
I think we'd pay that. Problem we might have is other 'richer' clubs wanting him too and able to pay bigger wages. If he's happy here then that's an advantage for us.

6.) 21 Nov 2019 08:41:40
He's a steal at 10M in my book. One of the main reasons we're so threatening in the big games. He can really mix it up.

7.) 21 Nov 2019 10:29:11
Wages might be a stumbling block.

8.) 22 Nov 2019 13:40:57
I doubt Eddy will be here beyond the summer so that would be a good £25m or so in the coffers.

9.) 27 Nov 2019 22:21:34
None of the EPL teams in Europe would go for Elyonoussi, so i think we have a chance. The fee for Edouard should start at £30 million. Forwards always go for more than defenders, so why should we sell him cheaply.

Anybody know if there is any truth to the omrani rumours?

Samm1888

1.) 30 Aug 2019 19:06:00
Wouldn`t surprise me if we signed nobody .

2.) 30 Aug 2019 19:18:32
There won’t be now, they won’t sell him to us now we are drawn to play them in the Europa League .

3.) 30 Aug 2019 19:21:19
No one knows mate. No even Celtic recruitment 😉😉😉.

Anyone think we are actually in for tyrese Campbell? If so is he any good?

Samm1888

1.) 15 Jan 2020 00:28:36
No personally I don't think we are. has anyone confirmed this. Just paper talk sorry sevco fanzine talk. . same thing. This will give them the feel good factor of beating us to the signing. Reckon it's strategy any player they fancy will be double fancied. Makes sense as they will NEVER be interested in players we actually want. you get my drift. bedknobs and broomsticks and all that. .

2.) 15 Jan 2020 00:31:48
Apologies just seen below so I know he's fine @spoiledanddoesntevenknowit 😉😉.

3.) 15 Jan 2020 00:30:22
Oh Ed hope the wee has recovered from his caffeine experience. @yoursoposhyourdogsgetsone 🤣🤣 anyway kidding aside hope he's doing ok. 😁.

{Ed007's Note - Cheers mate.}

I know Lennon doesn't like him and it's only a thought but does anyone else think we are missing a trick by not using Sinclair as a striker instead of a winger? Imagine him and eddy up front together.

Samm1888

1.) 05 Jan 2020 01:53:46
He's not a striker. I know he covered there for a few games when we had an injury crisis but don't remember him standing out playing there apart from humping Hearts at Tynecastle. Regardless it's a non starter as NL doesn't rate him.

2.) 05 Jan 2020 09:46:51
Sinclair's days are over at Celtic unfortunately as Lennon doesn't fancy him. They need to try move him on in Jan and free up the wage we are paying him. Shame as l always like the guy.

3.) 05 Jan 2020 10:35:35
Neil Lennon is a very stubborn man, who preferred to play the likes of Morgan and Johnston, while Elyannoussi is missing, before a guy that had regularly top-scored from that position.

Anyone think we stand a chance turning Forster and elyounoussi loans into a permanent signing?

Samm1888

1.) 27 Oct 2019 13:14:51
Hope so mate!

2.) 27 Oct 2019 14:31:50
All be creaming myself mate if wee do a absolutely love Forster the big mans a breath a fresh air and loves the club and elynoussi is a baller still has a few more gears to go through and when he does will be a skelper.

3.) 27 Oct 2019 15:03:32
Southampton may have a new boss if things continue to deteriorate down there, so it may depend on the new managers plans and of course the wages these guys are on at present are probably way out of our budget.

4.) 27 Oct 2019 15:12:39
My worry with elyounoussi is if we don't make it permanent we might piss off young Johnstone who might develop into a great player.

5.) 27 Oct 2019 16:12:55
Southampton will be relegated at the end of this season.
It depends if they want to offload the two of them.
They cost a combine £26 million, which we could afford, therefore it depends if they want to stay and their salary.

Hope he's not implying no more funds until KT is sold with that comment.
