Rumour of Micky Johnson going out on loan to Dundee United and Tony Watt rumour to be going to them as well, Our Portuguese winger, who am not allowed to name has moved from his hotel into the area I deliver mail in, he is next to an ex Celtic player who now plays for the Hibs, and it was him who said the winger would sign permanently in the next 2 weeks.

Not allowed to name? always makes me laugh.

2.) 25 Dec 2021 10:01:07
Are you allowed to say what area you deliver to?
We would then be able to see if any binmen or taxi drivers have been privileged to this top secret information you're not allowed to disclose.

3.) 25 Dec 2021 14:47:55
No not allowed to name area because as a postman am not allowed to say where anyone lives, due to someone might be looking for the someone other than a famous footballer, but if you put 2 and 2 together you might come up with 17,the Hibs player didn’t get much game time with us, again put 2 and 2 together and you never know, the Portuguese player isn’t Ronaldo, it was the Hibs player who said the winger was signing permanently, the winger won’t see the binmen because he’ll be at training, think it’s the green bin this week and the wages he gets he won’t need a taxi, there is also a Celtic defender who has bought a house in the area, but he is the man with no name at the moment, but I will keep you posted, do you get it, posted, hope like piles cream that clears that up for you, Merry Christmas ?.

4.) 26 Dec 2021 08:48:14
Scott Allen.

18 Dec 2021 11:23:53
A Celtic Portuguese winger, not allowed to name him and a Celtic defender, haven't found out his name yet, are moving into area I deliver to, it is not short term for winger or defender, those are facts, rumour is the winger will sign for Celtic next week.

1.) 18 Dec 2021 12:17:47
Maybe jota moving in and one of our centre half's ?.

2.) 18 Dec 2021 12:43:53
Could be our Ross County hero, his family in the area, will know soon.

3.) 18 Dec 2021 12:56:16
Sounds good Tam.
Big Tony's family are from the Uddingston area (I believe) and our very own 'George Michael' on the wing - superb!

☘ ? ☘.

4.) 18 Dec 2021 13:03:26
Useless post without names (if yiu pardon the weal pun) !

5.) 18 Dec 2021 13:11:50
Don’t think Ronaldo is in the squad, wouldn’t get a game in front of our Portuguese winger anyway.

10 Dec 2021 22:59:13
Moffat and Dawson might be in squad on Sunday, not involved in B game, unless both are injured of course.

Postman Tam

1.) 11 Dec 2021 09:58:23
Yes it looks like young Moffat in particular might get some game time tomorrow.
Which begs the question from Ange why did he not play him on Thursday I STEAD of Kyogo, in this particular instance our manager made a big boo boo.

2.) 11 Dec 2021 11:20:04
Was Moffat in the euro squad?

3.) 11 Dec 2021 11:20:32
Tim I don’t think anyone envisaged the first injury to Ajeti. Or even to Kyogo.

One thing I do note is the increase in hamstring injuries, players seem fit but I think hamstring is down to muscle overuse? Probably due to the high press and intensity ange plays at but that shows we need the depth.

4.) 11 Dec 2021 11:48:36
I was listening to a Celtic podcast the other day and it was mentioned about the amount of hamstring problems we have and it was mentioned that there is a programme that most clubs use to monitor players fitness and it tells the club IF the player in question is on a high risk off getting a hamstring injury and it was asking IF Celtic were using this programme or can understand how it works. Because we have more hamstring injuries than any other club twice as much say Sevco has. I thought it was just down to the style we play and train but IF there is some sort of monitor that can pick up if a player has a high risk off getting a hamstring we should use it or learn to use it correctly to stop our players pulling up during a game and out for weeks on end.

{Ed007's Note - I said when Ange came in that I expected us to pick up a lot of niggling injuries because of the changing of the intensity of training/playing. I seriously doubt there's any program that can specifically predict hamstring injuries but there is sports science programs that will tell you a player isn't at the peak of his physicality and could be more prone to any injury, which is really common sense imo. If a player is training hard and playing as many games as us then there is going to be injuries - it comes down to squad depth and squad rotation to manage these situations.
According to Ange, Kyogo was always going to come on the other night.

"Obviously we were prepared to give Kyogo a bit less time tonight but with Albian also getting a hamstring, we’re just going through a bit of a rough trot which never seems to end. But we’ll cope. We’ve got a few injuries but the amount of games we’re playing, it’s just ridiculous, to be fair.
We don’t have the squad to cope with that at the moment. Luckily tonight we got some 90 minutes into players who will help us moving forward."

Asked if he would temper the training and playing style to protect his players from injury, Ange added: "No, it’s not possible. It’s a by-product of the team we want to be and it’s part of the process.
I’ve been through it a number of times with teams I’ve taken over and the initial process is always difficult. Games are coming thick and fast, but that’s the level we want to be at."

5.) 11 Dec 2021 12:18:17
Is Dawson a striker lads.

6.) 11 Dec 2021 13:07:02
Dawson is midfielder.

7.) 11 Dec 2021 16:30:55
ED007 I read Celtic through their new Sports science guy have already teamed up with a company that are pioneering a new way of treating hamstring and other muscle related injuries by using a bi product of termeric the spice to reduce inflammation, honest this seems to work.

{Ed007's Note - Turmeric (the curcumin in it) has many properties that aid our health in general, Timbo, everything from heart disease to keeping your mind sharp.
The Turmeric Co. that we entered into a partnership was founded by ex-Wales international Hal Robson-Kanu that we were linked with a few years ago.}

A great result, brilliant effort by everyone, the ref Muir was abysmal at worst, Rangers support complaining about the added 8 minutes, while they have added 140 years on to their history, the Starfelt incident was ridiculous, booked for complaint about being elbowed, the striker should have been sent off, a rule I'd like to see in all football is when a player is fouled and has to go off, who ever fouls him has to go off for the same time as him or unless he's subbed, so it's 10/ 10,we could have lost a goal from the corner tonight.

Postman Tam

1.) 16 Dec 2021 01:32:46
I thought the referee was meant to stop the game for a head injury?
Muir refused to act on the rules of the game and that added to Starfelt’s anguish.
It resulted in Starfelt receiving a booking for dissent but Muir should’ve stopped the game immediately for Starfelt to receive treatment for his bloodied face.

2.) 16 Dec 2021 02:40:21
I'm not being funny but did anyone actually see the ref give Starfelt his 1st card?
I was watching it on the tv and it didn't show it and by the reaction of the players, i don't think they knew he had already been booked.

3.) 16 Dec 2021 06:24:25
The more Celtic keep winning the more these refs are turning the screw.

For free when allegedly £12m was on the table a season or two ago.

2.) 01 Aug 2021 17:48:32
Another 50/ 50 decision they got wrong JFP.

3.) 01 Aug 2021 17:50:36
Who cares JFP? We'd have spent it in dross anyway.

4.) 01 Aug 2021 20:45:35
The problem JFP everything was ignored when going for the 10. Look at the amount of players who were in the last year and nothing was done. Guy wanting to go but told they had to stay. Its all come back to haunt us now.

1.) 27 Jul 2021 06:21:57
Sounds about right.

2.) 27 Jul 2021 08:12:04
That leaves us with Edouard and Ajeti, that's enough to give anyone the fear!

3.) 27 Jul 2021 08:29:23
Many on here think we need him. Surely if he was fit he would be on the bench. Rogic Griff Eduard Johnston gave us some gd times time to help another club now.

4.) 27 Jul 2021 08:35:27
Yeah especially us celtic supporters.

5.) 27 Jul 2021 08:55:32
What a surprise! Griffs injuried. Wonder what it will be next week.

6.) 27 Jul 2021 09:22:36
He's been stealing a wage for 2 years.

7.) 27 Jul 2021 11:03:19
Best striker we have!

{Ed007's Note - Best striker we have that has only managed to score more than 15 goals in a season once in the past 5 years? His input of goals over the Quadruple Treble was 31 goals - Edouard nearly beat LG's total in one season when he scored 29 goals.}

8.) 27 Jul 2021 11:35:15
Ouch!

I'm not even convinced LG's injured, maybe he's already looking at the exit after the reception he got at the weekend 🤔.

9.) 27 Jul 2021 13:28:24
Come on malkybhoy. Hope you are being sarcastic.
He has had a chance to get on anges gd side but again let himself down. Sorry malkybhoy I'm over him now. Maybe join broonie at the dons at least on loan get some money back. All these guys are asked to do is look after themselves when you train hard and get bigger and stronger you will get better especially with a new manager who is making his mark on a new system. But in the end they need to want to take it to the next level but seem to much for him Eduard rogic and Mikey Johnston (absolute laziness to bulk up on his part) that's what you do if your lower half gets injured build top half and vice versa. He has no genetic reason stopping him. It's easier than you you think eat right and train right. As IV said in past posts you need to want to progress.

Think centre halves who attack the ball and who organise their defence would be an advantage, actually thought that’s what Starfelt brought in to do, oh for leadership like Mjallby and Balde.
