Thing about JJ is I'm very comfortable with it if Celtic get 15-20 mill Ange will get another RB with plenty of £ for others available ?.
{Ed007's Note - There might be more to the Juranovic rumours than we first thought. I was told that there is/will be plenty of interest in JJ and there will be bids coming in at the kind of level Celtic will leave it up to the player where he wants to be.

Really hard one for the player even if he wants to stay. No matter how stubborn a donkey can be not calling JJ a donkey btw ?the bigger the carrot dangling in front of it the more chance it will budge ?.

The only thing is if we can hold off until January especially this year if he has an unbelievable world cup we could possibly double that transfer if not maybe an extra 10mill I'd be saying different ED I'd keep him but we all know the club won't reject big money ?.

I’m surprised to notice that Juranovic only had One assist in his 35 games for Celtic last season.
His 5 penalties makes his overall total more respectable.
Compare that to Ralston who had 13 goals/ assists in only 28 league matches last season.
Taylor has had a 1 in 5 goals/ assists in his full Celtic career.
The Argentine fullback Celtic are linked with has only had a 10% goal/ assist in his Lanus career.
I would normally think that 1 in 10 rate is poor from the young Argentine but Juranovic is proof that there’s more to a footballer than stats.

Buzz from what I’ve seen of the young Argentine, his assist stats would be a lot higher if there was a better standard of striker making runs into the box. I’m excited about the potentiality of us signing this boy. Taylor improved a lot last year but I’m hoping this boy is a level above.

I would be disappointed if Juranovic was to leave after only one season as he does look a class act. However, I suppose you get used to being a selling club when you think about previous huge transfers. In recent years - having missed out on CL money - we have sold quite a few star players and still managed to maintain substantial success. I was hoping we would get even stronger this season and make some sort of impact in Europe and with the way Ange and the Board are working in tandem ; with swift, efficient recruitment over the last 12 months and I think we will continue to improve with JJ or not?

We just need to be realistic with our valuations too.
That Patterson laddie went for a reported £12m. A bit part player at both his domestic club and internationally. JJ in contrast - a mainstay in a champion winning team and now a regular feature for Croatia who are a very useful team indeed.
If we were to sell him for a derisory £15m (as some of you seem content to do) I'll sharpening my pitchfork and lighting the torches! It's time we stopped playing the poor country bumpkins. If he were to go for that £15m them I'd want a VERY HEFTY sell on clause too.
Let's be all we can be.
A settled side that's been together for a few seasons is what we should be looking at, not this settling to be a selling club pish.

It’s very simple for me. Juranovic is a cracking player, league winner in first season, got what 3 years or so still to run on his contract? I’d be gutted to see him go when ange is building something special, but if bids are inevitable then celtic must make it clear nothing south of £25 million will be considered…… the ball here is firmly in the clubs court.

Iv seem him referee other game not celtic and rangers and he is worse. So we 90 mins to beat teams.

2 teams in the CL maybe 1 in the Europa ok we had Motherwell and Dundee utd but in the CL Holland have 1 team France have 2 Portugal have 3 we know Italy Germany Spain and England get more but the Norwegian league get a bigger TV deal than Scotland shame on sky imagine if our league was backed even a quarter of England's.

My god BBC this morning loving Sevco reaching group stages. Fair play to them getting the result but it was if they'd won the b. y tournament. With Julienne off the wage bill for me we need another CB as Sterfelt and Welsh aren’t anywhere near good enough for the CL. A CDM who is quality and another striker. If they had gone out what we have woukd becenough, but they will spend big and we can’t just hope as was our Achilles for too long. Ange and the board should know there a too much at stake to look at our defenders and think we have enough. We don’t. We have two CB’s and we need another one urgently or for me we are just setting ourselves up for more defensive balls ups destroying us. You bet to you Celtic.

He may well be that, but it’s a risk and with our record for pathetic defences at euro level you would think we would learn we need quality. I think Jenz would s a step up from both back up. First goal was always vital but this is a very experienced real team they knew the way we play high intensity and it would take it's toll McGregor shot goes in or meada then we have a chance but when they took the lead they know how to play it they've been there many times but we have a great team in green and white after just one season ?.
