Just seen been selected for Tuesday. Actually feel bit emotional. It's been a long time coming. A way of life interrupted. Hopefully this beginning of something special under Ange. We just need exercise some patience Last seasons debacle nothing do with him I'm sure I Like a lot of other posters in that it's been an emotional rollercoaster since last March. Up down negativity coming from all directions. . Frustration Helplessness. Now we have chance get back in and drive team on Feels like new dawn I feel like little kid going first game.

6.) 18 Jul 2021 22:20:48
P73 I was also selected for Tuesday, my own seat is in the north stand but have been given a seat in section 112 row d, do you have any idea why we have to be at the stadium between 5-45 and 6-15 for a 7-45 kick off.

7.) 19 Jul 2021 09:39:15
It will be ro stop congestion so everyone is in and spaced out in plenty of time for the KI k off maybe they want to do temp checks or check the to see if you have been vaccinated.

Celtics subtle pop at en ger land got me thinking

Big shamrock on a shirt
Quadruples still gleaming
One year has hurt
C.V.s had us bleeding
It's coming home. It's coming home
Spl trophies coming home

Think I'll stick to the plumbing. 😀. Just trying to lighten load. Mon the hoops.

Team for weekend
Barkas
Ralston
Ajer/ bitton
Welsh
Taylor
Soro
Mcgregor
Brown
Forrest
Elyonoussi
Griff
4-2-3-1
Subs. Eddie Christie Turnbull Johnstone
Have yet to see Christie win a 50/ 50 all season he gets there when tracking back but more often than not knocks it on to attacking players advantage so he's out Turnbull not fit enough bring on last 20 min Eddie already left in his head Kenny not good enough Brown and Soro holding the Sevvies like play small passes around box an extra natural defender hopefully help Keep clean sheet. See if between them griff Forrest cal Mac elyonoussi can grab goal or two It used to be so easy picking team. Really had think about it tells own story.

P73

Agree with all of the above apart from Barkas and McGregor.

Barkas simply not good enough.
McGregor has not done enough in the last couple of games against them. I would play Turnbull.

Hail Hail 🍀🍀🍀🍀.

2.) 27 Apr 2021 19:37:21
For the umpteenth time this season, leave Brown out.

3.) 27 Apr 2021 19:39:34
Allegedly AEK want barkas back on loan. hope so.

4.) 27 Apr 2021 20:59:09
Sorry but not sure how you can pick a side and leave turnbull out. The lads is one of the only bright sparks in the side.

5.) 27 Apr 2021 21:06:29
Hopefully they've told the players likely to leave at the end of the season this is their last game for Celtic so give it their all and end the Sevconians invincible season. Then play the fringe players so the assets don't get injured and scupper any transfers.

6.) 27 Apr 2021 21:19:33
I can't take that team seriously man! Ralston isn't good enough to be on the bench. Iv seen a few posters mentioning him. Is it one of those ones the longer you don't see them the better they get? leaving the best player in the team on the bench? Crazy stuff.

7.) 28 Apr 2021 00:14:03
Bain

Ralston
Ajer
Welsh
Taylor

Brown
Soro

Demebele
Turnbull
Mio

Griff.

8.) 28 Apr 2021 09:11:03
The only changes I would make from our last visit is Taylor for Laxalt, Forrest for Christie and possibly Soro for Brown.
The biggest problem in our previous 3 meetings against them is Celtic haven’t taken our chances.
If we continue to create the way we have recently against them, the chances will turn into goals.
We can’t start Griffiths up front on his own.
It’s correct to admit that Griffiths would’ve scored the chances Eddy has had but the chances could dry up if Griffiths is isolated up front on his own.

9.) 28 Apr 2021 14:49:19
Bain
Ajer Bitton Walsh Taylor
McGregor Turnbull Soro Forrest
Griffiths Édouard.

What a shambles of a season. To now have to listen to deluded fantasists doubling down on their mass volountary hypnosis induced alternate reality is firmly at Lawells door. To deny the truth in any field is short skip to insanity. Thanks Peter. On that basis of thought If I keep insisting I'm seeing Rihanna and Rachel Riley will that become true as well I really want it to b true in fact it is true. Aye it is. Thanks again Peter.

Could have played all day and not scored. Utterly pathetic. A season that will be hard to get over. Especially when you have zero confidence our board of cowards will respond. Every 9layer, coach, member if the recruitment team, board especially Lawell and DD. Hang your heads in shame. The most cowardly season I have ever witnessed from us. A deed club overtake us.

Am i only person who not over enamoured with Eddie Howe. as bookies fav Don't think right move. Hope doesn't happen. I think he crumble up here Too big a job for him imo.

P73

1.) 22 Jan 2021 10:44:55
Why do you think that?

2.) 22 Jan 2021 10:57:02
Kev he been at sleepy small town Bournemouth. It's a different planet from us The mindset could not be further apart. Avoid relegation. I just don't think that what we need. No harm to Howe he seems a nice guy.

3.) 22 Jan 2021 11:09:00
not overly excited with him either mate. never really been at a big club to feel the pressure of every game is a must win.

{Ed007's Note - Leicester finished 9th, 10th, 10th and 8th in the the 4 seasons MON was in charge in the PL - he won 85 matches out of 223 while managing them.}

4.) 22 Jan 2021 11:11:51
So who would you fancy P73.

5.) 22 Jan 2021 11:45:05
Dan petrescu. Would be my choice. Cork Paul In current climate I I see us getting Jack Ross . I think there's going to be major downsizing. It's inevitable really Less income no fans uncertainty about what future holds. They can't or won't just throw caution to wind. I do hope I'm wrong . Ed 007. MoN played at highest level winning big cups. with Forest. There's your mindset No comparison with Howe.

{Ed007's Note - I've no idea what their playing career has to do with it - Klopp, Mourinho, Leonardo Jardim, AVB and many more top & successful managers never played at a high level if at all - so we should go for Roy Keane then, winning big cups and captaining the biggest football club on the planet for years.
Or why not just appoint Scott Brown if it's down to their "mindset"?}

6.) 22 Jan 2021 12:07:56
Ed007 think we seen Scott browns current mindset other night. 😀 I'm not disputing that it's not a requirement to have played at good level to b a good manager. I personally would rather have someone with proven winners mentality rather than Howe I'm a htg engineer. If I had big contract I would rather b surrounded by guys who I know can do job successfully rather than bring guys in who never been on big contract and Only worked on smaller jobs MON brought a proven winners mindset to us through winning cups with Leicester and a stellar playing career in which he showed the right mindset to achieve all he did My own choice of petrescu who is another proven winning mindset.

{Ed007's Note - Cocu won the Dutch league 4 times, a La Liga title and a few cups as a player, he won the Dutch League 3 times and a few cups as a manager.
I don't know how he is at fitting boilers right enough.}

7.) 22 Jan 2021 12:24:07
What about a cocu petrescu combi? Sorry plumbing joke It'd b a gas. Tho The temperature definitely is rising among fans.

{Ed007's Note - Have you ever been in fixing a radiator and there's been somebody hiding under the bed hitting you with pickled onions? BLEED MA DADILATORS!}

8.) 22 Jan 2021 13:37:52
Even our last manager never played at a high level and he still won every trophy available considering he only won the championship playoffs as a manager before arriving. At least Howe managed to win the championship.

Great 2nd half. First half? No idea what going on wi players. Take a bow big Idah. Two fantastic finishes. Well done Yang too hopefully he pushes on now and consistently produces that type of performance. He looks stronger. Delighted for Brendan. He’s been under serious pressure but that was a big win . . Hopefully a turning point for us . Looking forward to Wednesday. Need go out full pelt from kick off. I do think that if we turn up we’ll beat anything in spl it’s about us turning up . Still confident in title and cup.

Like game at rugby park. 2nd half we didn’t show up. I was quite upbeat first half, there was a good atmosphere and we looked busy with intent in our play, just missing a bit of finesse in final ball to finish off few nice moves. 2nd half we like different team nervous jittery and most worryingly for me our experienced players making In play shocking decisions. Twice in twenty seconds our normally cultured captain hacked at ball in centre of pitch when calmness required Ball fell to normally steady Anthony he hacks at it too? Matt o Reilly 3 times in a minute made 3 crazy and poorly executed decisions one after other as wasn’t dealing with pressure of Kilmarnock either? Joe hart who been keeping us in games recently I know but made two inexplicable decisions for such an experienced player Once when everybody in stadium glad he can catch easy high ball choosing to punch? Which culminated in corner next he races to try to release kyogo when again everybody in stadium glad he got ball and has time to reset to ease pressure Falls over trying to do so? All these decisions brought additional pressure it’s so unlike us . It was as if we were playing the top ranked team in champions league game such was the nervousness. Not Kilmarnock who in fairness pressed us well . but we just couldn’t deal with it. Bernabei never a left back never will be. I’d try him on wing so many decisions being made poorly individually and collectively at every level of club this year. Most fans seen this coming. As posted couple weeks ago I just don’t understand why Brendan came back I don’t understand why we have strategy we do. I thot 100% we would sign some quality in window just past as it was obvious we needed it. In short players need step it up. and Brendan needs step it up . A long way to go yet.

Enjoyed reading post charles67. On yesterday’s game it seemed to me the players seem restricted in their play, overthinking every pass and movement, with very little spontaneity. That little pause/ check on themselves as if confirming in head their doing what’s been asked of them is slowing up play. After the Ange go for it hell for leather all action type of football we’ve been watching prior to his exit it’s a hard watch at times. Could it be we are being over coached? I do not agree with booing either, I am frustrated watching too but I never have and never will boo my own team no matter what. After also living through the barren years a win is a win We all have to be together as one for success and since Brendans return was announced it’s not been the case with certain groups making their displeasure front and clear from outset. I personally don’t really understand why Brendan came back after the circumstances of him leaving but while he manager I be right behind him. The transfer policy seems to be going backwards but it’s hard to criticise from business perspective with tens of millions in bank . I gave up decades ago thinking if we just pushed boat out a little more What could we achieve (rivaldo not coming and going to Greek league) I genuinely couldn’t sleep for a fortnight at thought of him in Hoops ?but the board are risk averse and are highly unlikely to change. It seems almost tactical from them to keep the tribute act within touching distance of us. It’s a transitional season after Ange it was going to be a major change whoever came in .

Totally agree with timalloy. I don’t think anyone’s disputing that the gb add to the atmosphere but to say we need them I find laughable. The team on park needs to perform to excite the crowd as has always been, long before gb existed. I have had season ticket for almost 30 years with no meetings to discuss transfer business with the board which so upset our so called super fans in their lengthy self indulgent statement which I also find laughable. As many have said surely it would be simpler for them to start their own political party where they can express themselves and their views to their hearts content without using my and 59000 odd other fans club as vehicle for maximum exposure. Or is that the reason they won’t, as no one will be interested but add celtics name to mix and suddenly they have an audience . Celtic will be there long after the green brigade have disbanded and grown up. Totally bored by the situation. Reeks of look at me look at me attention seeking children whilst ultimately dividing the support. If they are not allowed back or don’t wish to follow the rules like everyone else it will evolve naturally. And a new group who will adhere to rules will take their place. I go to watch celtic play football which yesterday we didn’t do very well. Lack of urgency for all of first half and most of second. We didn’t look like scoring. Crossing was way too easily dealt with and we kept on trying do same thing . Was disappointing performance but Motherwell made as difficult as possible to be fair to them. We will have to play with more speed and intensity to overcome their type of tactics. Hopefully a bad day at office and we can kick on. PS I wonder if yangs (who I thought worked his socks off) crossing would have improved had gb been there. Or is he young player who needs to develop his quality and final ball. Maybe Matt o Riley was quiet as there was no banners in that section. Maybe palma wasn’t tired after long haul flight and it was lack of pyros before match that was responsible for his overall poor performance Laughable.

I agree mally. It’s a new option for us I think kyogo more to offer as overall player as good as he has been over last couple years. Their keeper had two or three top saves the one low down to right of post was exceptional. On another day we could have had seven and fans moaning about boring fitba? first game season. 3 points in bag. I’m totally excited about how team going to evolve. As Brendan has said. We will get better and better. So hopefully a couple of starters in and we be well placed. the big Croatian keeper would be major for us. I hope we can get him.
