I don’t what all the fuss is about whether the league is null and void.
We will win the next few leagues at a canter so 10 in a row is not a problem.

Kev I've attended 24 out of 30 league games this season which has been a large financial cost after more than 75% played am I just to say fair enough null the season? What would happen if we mathematically won the league but only played 35 games and relegation/ Europe isn't settled do you nullify league?

Kev according to Sevco fans if it’s declared null and void then they will look on Celtic as stopping at 8 in a row because there will be a gap.
That is the mentality we are up against and it will be the same if we get awarded the title to make it 9 In A Row they won’t acknowledge that either.
You can’t take the high ground with these people because they live in their own wee bubble.

Today’s display v Livvy was the worst Celtic performance I have every seen in over 45 years watching and supporting the club. Every player (bar laxalt, McGegor and Soro) hit the ball one time when it came to them. Like a pub team. I have coached top level youth teams against Barca, AC Milan, Ajax, Real, Sevilla etc and trust me these kids at 10/ 12 yrs understand the game better than our first team. I have seen such teams (Spanish amateur teams) demolish Spurs, Man City, man utd etc - because of the coaching education and CONSISTENT Methodology they receive from the earliest years. If anyone doesn’t believe me, drop me a note and I will point u to some footage.
The coaching at our club - top to bottom - is pathetic and decades behind global practice. We need a top to bottom overall from DOF to grass roots and player ID. Don’t tell me mikey Johnston and Ralston are Celtic class. They won’t save our future. Complete overhaul required with experts from Spain or Germany being put in place for next decade.

I often wonder how much anyone on these chats actually played football.
Football is not an easy game. Games are meant to be difficult. Opponents do try to compete and beat you. So over the course of the season if you can maintain consistency then you are a top team. What Celtic are doing game on game, year on year is not easy by any means.
Season after season, minimal defeats.
Not easy. People who have played the game appreciate that.

Hard fought point last night but still should have won with chances missed. As for Taylor one thing for me that really stands out is that he has no pace so can't go past players to get crosses in. All things said 9iar on way hail! hail!

Kev I saw that piece and his defending SPFL over having "no choice" to play Livi game next day because of possible fixture congestion. (We all know Sevco cannot handle games AFTER the winter break, so hey let's cancel it to help Sevco poor Mathew)
A couple of points
Firstly Sevco played ONE GAME LESS in December than Celtic their game in hand should have been played then.
Secondly the "impartial" "random" fixture computer gave us so many away games in January/ February Celtic will have played the potential other top six teams TWICE ALREADY AWAY, to even that up and be fair Celtic would have to get ALL five post split fixtures at HOME, can you see the SPFL sanctioning THAT?

The balance of home and away was clearly out of whack before the split leaving us with 8 away and 5 home when we returned from the winter break - until the league split and at that point we'll have played a total of 16 home and 17 away; so to even out a 19/ 19 fixture allocation we should have three home games after the split no matter who finishes in the top six. Think that will happen? Wait and see.

Celtic mad we WILL get 3 home games after split that is one thing they cannot mess us about with, but we will have to play at least one of the other top 5, if not both, 3 times away from home this season.

I have been saying for some time what a complete and pointless waste of time the split is, and for the reason Celtic mad highlighted it benefits no one . All it does is fleece the fans, say having to travel to Dingwall 3times, time it was abolished and put into room 101.

Have said it before on this forum - am not a fan of Julien. For a big guy he gets bossed physically and rattled mentally far too easily. Needs to bulk up to be able to handle physical aspect of the game. Can you imagine a 50:50 between him and Mjallby or Bobo?

You must be watching a different player mate. Sure has chipped in with a few key goals, but as a defender he is judged on his defensive qualities first and foremost - which are not at the required level IMHO.

Ed - what is your estimate of how much have we removed from the weekly wage bill in the January transfer window - versus the wages for the two boys we have brought in?
Sinclair; Morgan; Kouassi; Hendry out, must be around 60k per week = 3m per year.
{Ed007's Note - Remember Kouassi & Hendry are only out on loan and we'll probably still be paying a percentage of their wages so it won't be as much as that, I'd say it'll be nearer £50k off the bill then we have to figure in Klimala & Soro's wages.

Loss of Elhamed has been biggest blow to our back 4. He looked a real Quality player. hopefully we haven’t bought a player who can’t handle the demands to play at this level.

I would trade being 5 points behind Sevco to still be in Europe. Europe is where progress growth and success is measured, not in the central belt of Scotland.
Would you rate Copenhagen any more if they had won the danish league 10 times in a row? .
