I don’t think loans are bad option they happen all the time in Italy sometimes works as a try before you buy.
Can you imagine if you went out there and bought Duffy and Kenny thankfully they were only loans.
Also not understanding why Celtic are letting English clubs hand pick your younger players.

I take your point and sometimes it's an option, but how many loan players have we taken in the last ten years, then pursued them?
We will always make dodgy signings and have made some blunders, but a player under contract has only one 'master' to commit to.

Sometimes you get a good loan with option to buy with fee agreed on principle if he suits with no obligation if he doesn’t for me it’s a win win.
Having said that on the position of Goalkeeper and RB I would like to get both on a permanent basis or with option to buy as you don’t want to be replacing them every 6 months or season.

The problem. we have had with loans, is most of ours are absolute planks. i woukd prefer we signed players too, but if we can get good players, instead of utter duds, i will not throw my toys oot the pram.

A loan to buy isn't such a bad thing. With the amount of players needed we need to bulk the squad out with a few loans and freebies too as we are spending a fair amount on these first team players we're bringing in. Would definitely take Itakura and this RB on loan. Couto looks like he's got bags of pace, skillful and can beat a man easily.

David Cartlidge from ESPN was adamant Piccini only wanted a return to Spain and that there was never any discussions with Celtic. His opinion on Spanish football seems to be quite respected.

I would prefer Douglas Luiz anyway but looks like he’s off to Fenerbahce. So if Brown or Ntcham are injured, unless we sign a centre mid, our options will be either McGregor or Bitton or Kouassi. 2 players who haven't played the position in a while and another who the manager doesn't seem to fancy.
God help us if Ntcham leaves before the end of the window.

All 4 of these CB have been watched and linked with Celtic a some point the scouts must have a fair bit of detail on each of these players surely to god 1 of these lads can do the job at the back either alongside Boyata or as a replacement
Brendan has spoken about 4 new faces I find it hard to believe 4 new faces will come through the doors this week today being Monday and nothing new as of yet means 4 new faces in 4 days can't see it
all I'm praying for is a CB and someone to replace Stu Armstrong think he is happy with Arzani Morgan Mikey Johnstone to fill the gap to replace Paddy Roberts

During the week I was told Callum Chambers of Arsenal was one we were looking at but I dunno if that one has any legs you’d have thought by now they’d have been trying to get him up to Glasgow.

Ed is 100% right Celtic are well within their rights to approach the player without the clubs consent as they did with the Moussa Dembele deal.
However from the info I was sent Celtic approached Davis without speaking to his parent club, therefore when Celtic had agreed terms and tried to get a permanent deal over the line Preston dug their heels in. All this wasted time allowed for Liverpool to come circling.
In this instance Celtics transfer dealings have left them with egg on their face. I stated before on here Nick Hammond is poor at his job. A guy who was sacked by WBA was put in charge of our transfer dealings ahead of one of our biggest seasons.
Jonjoe Kenny alongside a CB should be done before close of play with the window.

I know the club tried for a winger in the summer window but I haven’t heard anything this window about a winger.
By in large Celtic have yet to replace Paddy Robert’s from he left which is frightening. The downgrading of the squad has been nothing short of shocking.
They replaced KT with an average LB in Greg Taylor and the infamous Boli.
They replaced Fraser Forster with a wooden one in the form of Barkas.
They tried to replace Craig Gordon with a kid in Conor Hazard who had only ever spent time in the Scottish championship.
Jozo Simunovic should never have been released that was another cost cutting exercise.
The club had 3 RBs last season we currently sit with one who doesn’t want to be there.
Ajer, Ntcham, Christie, Eddy, have all expressed an interest in leaving the club, based on the track record of our transfer business this summers appears to be a complete rebuild. God help whoever the new manager is cause dealing with Nick Hammond will be a disaster.

Just literally what I have already posted. Club are actively trying for a right sided winger which has been a target area since Forrest picked up a knock.
I’ve been told to expect the Laxalt deal to drag on all afternoon before it’s announced.
