If this story about a gumny bid being accepted is true i think that's a massive signing for us looks like a real player, would be happy with either taylor or melling now.

Bid has been accepted just personal terms being discussed now but I think bid has been accepted from another club as well so it will be up to the lad where he goes.

2.) 22 Aug 2019 17:13:14
Who is the orhe club.

3.) 22 Aug 2019 17:15:57
Where you getting this information wulie? Not doubting you, just wondering.

4.) 22 Aug 2019 17:19:57
Looks like it's fake news. Time will tell.

5.) 22 Aug 2019 17:20:17
It's apparently bull now guys. ach well.

6.) 22 Aug 2019 17:21:21
Anyone know if this story is true?

7.) 22 Aug 2019 17:38:31
No offence, but the amount of misleading get-your-hopes-up reports and fake news is bursting my arse. I will only believe we have signed someone when I see him on the team bus.

8.) 22 Aug 2019 18:34:50
Have we ever actually been linked with this player in the press or has it just stemmed from this site and snowballed? Same for the Rosenborg left back. Not sure I've seen a single article in papers about them, not that it would have much more credence mind you.

9.) 22 Aug 2019 19:03:52
Jim record being talking about meling for weeks.

10.) 22 Aug 2019 19:27:35
Ta Kev 👍.

Just a wee post after last nights match, i actually enjoy the system we play with the 3 at the back i think Jozo steady's the back line far more than our fans give him credit for although myself included was unsure of him up until about exactly this time last season when he came right on to a game him and ajer were fantastic together. Still our most under appreciated player IMO probably why theirs always decent sides after him its a pitty the big man is injury prone, all in all though a performance i like to see after a long lay off time to kick on now though the next few moths are historic HH.

Charbhoy94

1.) 23 Jan 2020 17:32:03
No doubt Simunovic is a much more natural central defender than Ajer or Bitton and the only problem I have with him is the injury history. Yes he loses concentration and makes the odd mistake, but so do the others; if only he could stay fit for any length of time?

2.) 23 Jan 2020 18:57:08
What a tackle on Miller one to be remembered with the 10.

3.) 23 Jan 2020 19:17:02
Juliens header was immense txt book.

4.) 23 Jan 2020 20:55:55
JFP, that tackle is my number one tackle of all time against the Sevvies lol HH.

5.) 24 Jan 2020 07:55:28
Funny how people celebrate that tackle but moan and greet about the one the other night eh?

6.) 24 Jan 2020 10:56:10
I don't have a major problem with Power's tackle but I also don't see how you think his and Jozo's are the same Kev.

7.) 24 Jan 2020 14:05:02
Both of them went in solid won the ball cleanly and then played the man quite heavily kev.

8.) 24 Jan 2020 15:51:29
Sorry mate don't agree with that at all. Power hits Frimpong quite hard on the side of his knee whereas Jozo's isn't even a tackle. It's a 50/ 50 that he wins miles ahead of Miller and Miller even has enough time to almost get completely out the way. If you look at it Jozo's bum/ hip is all that clips Miller's foot.

Remember someone posting a few weeks ago asking if they'd take a punt on boyle from hibs i said i liked what i'd seen from him but thought he was at least 30 he's only 26 and i just seen the highlights from the othe nights games he was unplayable i think between him and frimpon they're the two fastest in the league and he's got a goal in him as well. outside the old firm i think he's one of the best out the rest.

Charbhoy94

1.) 22 Jan 2020 14:42:52
I can't say if ever noticed him and that says a lot to me. If signing from a scottish team I always look at how they stuck out against us. The likes of Hartley, robson and McDonald always gave us trouble then played great for us.

2.) 22 Jan 2020 16:51:11
Agreed Kev. Thought the same about Taylor as well.

3.) 22 Jan 2020 17:58:44
Taylor i decent imo he's not did much wrong and is a better bet than that bombscare boli.

05 Jan 2020 17:34:23
Not posted in a while just like to know your guys thought on the LB position i know its not exactly priority but i think we have still have a problem there. Been watching taylor for a couple of seasons now im just not a fan decent steady player but IMO not celtic quality. Out of the three hayes has put in the best performances and he's an attack minded player but put in the best shifts for us at the back and going foward, doubt we'll sign one though.

Charbhoy94

1.) 05 Jan 2020 18:29:49
It's too early to write either off but I'm not particularly impressed with either. Boli quite simply isn't a defender. Not even sure he makes up for it at the other end either. And Taylor was never going to be good enough for me. Replacing KT was always going to be difficult but doing it at such a small fraction of the cost was only going to make it harder. Forget Hayes. Unless either show huge signs of improvement then I'd be back looking for another in the summer.

2.) 05 Jan 2020 19:43:38
Bolingoli is a bomb scare. No point in playing RB unless you have since defensive qualities and he has none. Poor decision making and positioning. I'm with Jim in that Taylor isn't Celtic quality though I'd start him before Bolingoli every time. Hayes isn't good enough in his natural position never mind at LB. We should be looking to bring someone in but would the board sanction it given how much was spent on the 2 new guys?

3.) 05 Jan 2020 19:53:05
I think the last minute signing of Taylor was due to the erratic performances of Boli and costly mistakes.
Obviously he has failed to impress and stake a claim as LB.
So here we are with a very familiar problem area with three candidates that put-together are nowhere near KT.
One of the short term solutions would be to revert to a back three, with El Hamed, Jullien and Ajer and vary the midfield game by game?

4.) 05 Jan 2020 20:06:28
I completely agree jim spot on and i didn't even mention boli because he's just a wasted jersey complete waste of 3mil he's never shown anything never takes his man on and when he does try its a disaster, and i know hayes isn't the answer not a proper full back, and it won't say much for their future at the club if we do bring one in this month highly unlikely though.

5.) 06 Jan 2020 00:41:20
Am I the only one that thought boli was starting to come on to a pretty good game before he got injured?

6.) 06 Jan 2020 15:22:42
I reslly doubt we'll see a LB this window Charbhoy. There is chance for Boli to be coached yet but it's whether or not his head drops too much in the process because I think he's finding the whole thing a bit difficult and looks shot of confidence. We should have just paid for a proper left back.

Always felt like rogic has been one of our best players fully fit and on form. Feel like the stick he was getting over the summer was terrible and nowhere near justified, definitely under appreciated by some fans his passing was inch perfect today and a full 90min classy performance from the big man. Still christie for me though, can't see rogic not getting a lot more game time though he has too much quality not to.

1.) 27 Oct 2019 14:33:28
He has 1 or 2 decent games every 10. A very overated player. People are blinded by his 6 months spell under Rodgers where he was playing well but apart from that he usually flatters to deceive.

2.) 27 Oct 2019 14:59:31
He played very well today but Christie is more mobile, energetic and scores much more goals. However with those two, Elyannoussi and Sinclair to call on it's great for the demanding season to have these options. My only concern is the current lack of a reliable and capable back-up for Eddy - but I'm sure NL will address this in January.

3.) 27 Oct 2019 16:08:31
Unfortunately Sinclair will not play unless the other 3 are injured.
I hope he stays until the end of June and takes every penny in his contract because he has been treated shabbily.

4.) 27 Oct 2019 16:10:35
Rogic is a one good game in 10 player.
Total myth that he is one of our best players.
His best return is 12 goals in 1 season. Christie is on that right now and it isn't even Christmas.
He averages under 26 games a season and under 5 goals a season over the last 6 seasons.
He scores the odd wonder goal and Celtic fans lose their mind.
Squad player as best. Would be at least 3rd probably 4th choice number 10 for me with Christie ntcham and McGregor all ahead of him.

5.) 27 Oct 2019 16:11:01
It was a pressure game for Rogic today, to prove he can still make a big contribution to Celtic this season. It turned out to be an excellent day personally for Rogic and playing 90 minutes was a bonus. 👏.

6.) 27 Oct 2019 17:17:55
Nah for me the big man oozes class things he can do with the ball sometimes are top notch can change a game in a second. i agree he has to be more consistent but to render him useless is baffling to me, matter of opinion though.

7.) 27 Oct 2019 20:38:20
big tam will be off in january if there is an offer. if he is fit and playing, well the offer will be higher than if he was sat on the bench. i loved the big man but its time he moved on. we need room for the players who can give us a season without injuries. good luck big tam.

On reflection that was one of the worst performances i've seen in a long time, been scunnered all day im sure im not the only one that's had the horrible thought of what if they do win the league? Well i've come to the conclusion that its a massive possibility. Any team that's spent over 20mil on players over the last two season in our league is going to go close, they've went all out if you compare budgets, and we've gambled on what we have being good enough i hope the board are right cause its a catastrophic failure if we don't win these next two titles.

Nah i agree boyle looks no half bad been with hibs a few seasons this is the best i've seen him play pace is frightening wouldn't be someone who i'd look at specifically but if your looking for a bargain somebody on the cheap maybe worth a punt not as if he's 30 i' be looking to aim higher though not just a squad player somebody that's possibly better than we already have.

Im happy wihere mikey is even at this stage of his career reminds me of that maddison that's at Leicester he played on the left for the sheep and was brilliant at facing a man up and beating him with ease mikey's equally as good at that and he's got a goal in him, look at that maddison now world class. Mikey for me throughout the qualifiers and a good few games in to the season played brilliant at ibrokes as well. along with kris ajer him and mikey were our two best players he was just unfortunate with that injury.
