Does anyone know the price for a genuine Celtic ticket for the Villa game? Only asking as I have a pal in Birmingham who is a Villa fan and their cheapest ticket is £90.

I read the other day it was £50 for a Villa ticket and £49 for a restricted view seat.
I think UEFA put a cap on the pricing of European away tickets.

I will probably get pelters for this. Is Engles a player? Saw the game today. Linked up play well. Very good at the penalty (Retake) but also skied a shot when in a good position. Not the first time. Corners have got better, but couldn't have got worse. What I'm saying is I admire the Bhoy for not hiding. Now time to press on! I so hope he goes onto great things.

I wrote previously about how long it took Stan Petrov to settle in a new country with a new club and what a player he turned out to be.
I think Engels is improving all the time and will only get better.

For me he slotted into a winning on form team when first signed, then there was a clear dip in form, now there’s an obvious hard work element about him on the park as if he’s realised he’s not entitled to a starting place and needs to work for it, the football player was always there, I think we will see some good stuff from him in spring, I wander if he has a trick or two to beat a player aswell that as yet we’ve not seen, if he does that’s exciting.

His corners are better than orileys and in time he will become a much better player than him. He's been our best midfielder the past month and hid performances are only getting better.

I see a bit of Rogic in him woth his ability for ball retention and use of his body. He is going to be a fantastic player and worth 3 to 4 times more than what we got him for.

I posted a while ago about our goals against column and if we could complete the league season in single digits? I'm not sure how many weeks ago this was but we are still on 4. Magnificent. I was just looking at the table again there. Does anyone think we could go through the league season by conceding less than ten goals, i. e. single digit? I think it would be magnificent if we did.

The defense have been very consistent even after switching personnel and the addition of Schmeichel has proved to be very worthwhile.
I don't know about less than ten, as if the season goes as well as we hope, there's a chance we'll take the foot off the gas. However, it would be some achievement - as long as the title goes with it.

I recall one season under O'Neil we had a really low goals conceded but was not that low. Don't recall exact figure.

Celtic were very dominant in the 2001/ 02 season and we only conceded 18 league goals.
Sevco only conceded 13 league goals in the behind closed doors season.
Single figures is asking for too much.
I think it will still be hard to concede less than 18 league goals.

Let's be honest. The main stand needs upgrading big time. I may be in the minority here, but I think 60,000 is fine. I would be very happy if most of our available funds were spent on a total renovation, not necessarily an expansion. The stand inside is too small. Better facilities for European nights is a must. More corporate boxes/ hospitality would pay for itself in a few years. For the sake of a couple of million quid you could get rid of the pillars in the north stand. I read somewhere that we needed these because of the cemetery behind? Remember it already overhangs. Celtic 'bought' the air/ space from GCC back when the stadium was being redeveloped. And finally, major upgrades to the concourses are needed. Kiosks etc. I am ready to be corrected on anything. Cheers folks. HH!
