Surely Jordan Larsson is a no brainier.

Why, because he's Henke's son? His Moscow contract wasn't terminated because he was a top class player. HH.
{Ed007's Note - FIFA are allowing foreign players to terminate their contracts with Russian teams over the Ukrainian situation, Besty. There was previously talk that there was interest in him from England and teams weren't putting off by the €20 million fee, I think it was 20.
There will be plenty of suitors ready to sign Baby Larsson - probably more now that he is on a free but he isn't going to displace Kyogo or Gio so he would be that 3rd choice option and I don't think he would be happy to be that at this stage in his career.
Even if he did sign for us can you imagine the pressure he would be under just because of who his dad is?}

{Ed007's Note - To be honest I don't know much about him but that's the thing, Ken, a lot of people are wanting to sign Baby Larsson simply because of who he is - it's like dreamy fairytale "birthday caird pish".}

Yeah not for me. Expectation would be too big. He's never going to be as good as Henrik.

I most likely do have a extra attachment with being brought up with Henrik being mine and many others hero of that time, but young larsson by all accounts can play a bit and for free I think I should at least be looked into, I definitely get the for and against arguments though! And does he fit into Ange style and what he looks for in a player who knows?

On a free, he'd be a great option. The pressure of living up to his dad (which he won't) would be a worry.

Mark, I thought that agreement with FIFA was only for the 2021/ 2022 season. Have they now made it allowable to terminate the entire contract? HH.

I'm 100% convinced I read a while back they would be allowed to rip their contracts up at the end of thse season if it didn't look like there was going to be any change in the war. ? I just put the 2 together when I seen Baby Larsson had left his team.
Maybe it was an article saying it was something that could happen...

{Ed007's Note - To be honest, Besty it's not something I've paid that much attention to but that's got me thinking, if UEFA/FIFA have put sporting sanctions on Russia is their league going to be governed by those regs and what effect on players registrations etc will the sanctions have?}

It would make sense that those rules would/ could/ should be extended to allow a player to tear up his contract without suffering as a result. I don't believe it's in place at the moment (I could be wrong) which would therefore suggest that Moscow and Junior have agreed to part ways for free, which is somewhat strange when he was being talked about in the £10-15m category at the beginning of last season.
Time will tell, there may be something else in the back story. HH.
{Ed007's Note - Yeah reading up on it he left them by mutual consent but he had a year to run on his deal, it's a strange one alright. I still don't see anything official from Spartak Moscow or Baby Larsson confirming it and the original source of every story about it is a Tweet from Fabrizio Romano, and we all know he's not the most reliable.}

Well that was certainly a frustrating 1 today and a chance to put even more pressure on that lot tomorrow missed! Would have been nice to be in top spot but can't say we didn't play quite well tbh, really missed Rogic today and that lot just came to park the bus embarrassing style of football really! I’m the same as you bud would have took him last season, proper CDM but can play a bit too which helps! Will know the style of football too which gives him a head start, all in all great signing especially on a free! Enjoy the sun today everyone HH ?✅.

The real reason for that and I think Ange has alluded to it before is that Kyogo played a full season with his former club in Japan just before he signed with us, no rest really then expected to go a full season with us, will need to be managed still even after recovering from this latest setback! HH ?.
