The wee Dembele situation is a bit confusing. His contract has been reported in the media to have finished at the end of May which makes sense as players don't play for their clubs in June. However his profile is still on the official club player's list and that's usually changed immediately when a player is no longer in contract.
Is it possible that the contract termination date is wrong?
Are the club trying to agree a new deal with him?
If it's the former then I'm a bit surprised but if it's the latter then he has a serious amount of work to do to get close to the first team.
We all know he's small etc. etc. but you'd think if he was going to be in Ange's plans going forward then he'd have been involved to some degree since he recovered from his long-term injury. HH.

In almost every case, additional payments to the initial selling club are based on a percentage of the profit made, but only if it's included in the initial deal. It's never based on the total selling price. HH.

I think that story was mischief-making by the media.
There was another guy (Ibrahim 'Teteh' Bangura) who was playing for AIK at the time but his stats were no better than Mo's stats. In fact they were both total pysh as it turned out and even if you had mixed the two of them together to make one player then he'd have been pysh as well. lol

Wee Dembele clearly isn't part of Ange's plans. If he was then he'd have been signed up before now.
Even though he's small (but then so is Messi and it hasn't harmed his development) the laddie has talent but it appears there are other issues (perhaps his character, his attitude or something else) that remain unresolved.
He is showing a lot of the tell-tale signs of becoming another Islam Feruz if he's not careful. HH.
