Guys, ano it's just hindsight but does any of yous think Neil Lennon would've been a good scout for us, am reading some of his stories and he seemed to have an eye for a player. my pal reckoned a good No2 for us.

I don’t think that’s fair on Lenny because Brendan was forced to play Lewis Morgan as a striker before Lenny did due to us not having the proper cover.
James Forrest and Mikey Johnstone were also played as strikers due to us not getting cover for Leigh Griffiths when he was having personal problems.

I have no idea who made the decisions regarding recruitment during his times as manager, but if you look back at the squads, there were some really good signings among some flops - like any other coach.

Neill Lennon was a fantastic player for Celtic and how he was treated since his arrival in our country is Scotlands real shame. If you post disrespectful comments on here (Bhoy88) could I please ask that you tell us where you are from because you have not a feckn clue. I attended a debate In Edinburgh University at the time Neil was receiving bullets through the post after having been attacked at Tynecastle with no prosecution and that was after being attacked in the city of Glasgow. Not to mention his son receiving sectarian abuse his crime being Neil’s son. Professor Tom Devine concluded that Scotland indeed had a problem with institutionalised anti-Catholicism. The academic community across the divide agreed.

I think you're being a bit dramatic in name checking me JFP1888, The OP asked whether we thought NL would be a good scout. It's not disrespectful to give your opinion on the thread created by the OP. Why would I need to disclose where I'm from??.

Lennon is a Celtic legend, as a player, captain and manager . He took a big pay cut to join us as a player. He was in no rush to leave, even though his and his family lives were at risk.
