Always disappointed after any defeat, but last night made me angry as well. Yes. they had more quality than us in certain areas, but we had defended excellently until GT lost the flight of the ball and were a baw hair away from taking the lead ourselves.
It was very clear from that moment that the officials were going to help influence the result and so it did. Their second goal was never a corner and that was not the first such error. Another issue was when the referee went to the monitor for the penalty, 99% of these checks result in an award of a pk but not last night? It's common knowledge that the 'Elite' who guzzle at the teet of UEFA are favoured, so what did we expect. THe passion and energy shoen after the CF change showed what we should have done earlier in the game but was that because they eased off at 2-0 or did we get the starting 11 wrong? Whatever the case, we lost the game and probably the tie, but we are moving in the right direction and The Board need to back the manager. Even though UEFA will always manipulate the yop tournament they can't remove that star from our famous jersey.

I wouldn’t blame Taylor for their goal.
It was an inch perfect ball that went over his head.
I agree about the referee.
Celtic struggled in that first half to get any momentum and the referee didn’t help when he denied 2 Celtic corners.
And then he gave a corner for nothing to Bayern which resulted in a second goal.
It’s maybe being dramatic but these small decisions need to go in our favour.

Buzz there is 30 seconds left of the half, Taylor should be doing everything possible to prevent a shot. He didn't even engage with him physically. BR contantly goes on about mentality and physicality, its perfectly obv to me Taylor and Hatate don't fit that mould. I expect both to go in the summer. I don't see KT letting that happen he is much more likely to get physical with the player.

Buzz bomb, correct as much as I hate to say it, the first goal was pure genius and skill . 2 nd goal a lapse in defending.
With the onslaught on our defence for at least 50 mins, all our defence deserved praise for the few direct shots a very good team were held to . Our goalie had a couple of brilliant saves, mostly from ricochets and deflections .
I doubt if they purposely eased up as 2 nil can be dangerous enough, it was more we had to get ourselves up the field. and stay up the pitch or we were likely to shift 3/ 4 goals . We were now getting more of the ball facing their goals and questioning their defence. Their replies were not very sure and we took more encouragement. Idah worked their defence well for an hour or so, especially in second half . With Maeda taking up centre position after Idah was substituted their defence was a bit lost . I think it was the switch that confused them and our opening team played a role . Yang contributed well when he came on and again their left back was confused with the change, meaning Yang had a very successful closing period, if he started unlikely he would have been effective.

The Bayern player got the break of the ball for the first goal and then punished us.

The ball came of Taylor and fell perfectly for them. Their second Buzz was a terrible goal to concede. One of the best strikers around and he's unmarked at the back post!

We know the KT that was our greatest ever fan and played for us 6 seasons ago would probably not have allowed the player as much room as Taylor did . But that K Tierney was worth £25m on the transfer market .
The K Tierney we are signing for next season is worth nothing . Arsenal kept them for rest of this season, probably because Sevco asked former h. n who is their manager Arteta to keep him, but Arsenal didn’t want to take up the option of extra season, that was available to them
The question is, can the no cost KT manage to do what the £25m K T could probably do and not give the player as much room . Maybe yes, maybe no.

The first goal was outstanding but there was an element of luck! The player got the break of the ball and had enough class to finish it. Taylor can’t help the fact the ball bounced perfectly for the Bayern player to take it on.
