I've never heard MOR say he was unhappy or wanted to leave, but I appreciate this hasn't stopped our top players from being sold by The Board in the past. If there are several interested parties, Celtic will be well aware of the valuation with regards to European deals and set a price of £30m minimum plus add-ons as he will only get better.

{Ed007's Note - It's shocking the amount of ex-players that have came out and said the board sold them against their wishes, I suppose it's just another example of how poorly the Club is ran.}

I think that the number of ex players saying they were sold against their wishes was a lot more in the past . Maybe the club had very good reasons for selling some of the players and it may not have been solely financed reasons .

The manager who faced most criticism for selling players against their wishes and against fans wishes was undoubtedly Jock Stein who ruthlessly pulled a part the Lisbon Lions team, by telling many of them they were going to play for another club without player even thinking of leaving.

Aye, Ed; It is really infuriating when you think of the teams Celtic could and should have had since 2012 and as a result our European reputation and status (especially at Celtic Park) has evaporated.
All because profit and bank balance goes before progress and giving the support the quality of players Celtic were synonymous with.
Our club is run by a dictatorship with an agenda far from our roots.

{Ed007's Note - I was being sarcastic, name me one player that was sold by the board against the player's wishes?}

I'm not being funny but how can any player be sold against their wishes, the board can accept a bid but the player can refuse to move or sign a contract.
Henrik has said various times that the board wanted to sell him to Man U for £5m and he refused to leave.

Ed, I saw that coming ?

We have moved on players who were not good enough or unhappy, as any other team has and if MOR wants to leave and the club get what they want, everyone is happy, as long as he is suitbly replaced.

The club hold all the cards even if he wants to leave but I have never seen or heard any comment about him wanting to leave.

I have also heard the nonsense that he has accepted teams offers, which without permission from us to speak to him is that not tapping up.

I cannot see any team putting 30 million on the table or a large payment up front with add ons totalling 30 million, that is why the club have put their valuation so high, I think we will have him for 1 more season.

{Ed007's Note - We sign these young players selling the move as a stepping stone to play in higher leagues if that's their ambition. Even if MOR is only considering leaving Celtic the Club will have told MOR's agent the fee they're looking for, he'll then talk to interested clubs and talk out the kind of financial package, salary etc for the player, it's up to the clubs to negotiate the fee but the agent will have told them what we want.
Even if MOR has no intention of leaving and say the fabled £30m bid does come in, Celtic would speak to MOR and his agent, telling them there's been a bid made and if the player is interested in the move, we never stand in the way of players moving on to better themselves. If you start being sneaky with players over stuff like that then word gets out and agents get reluctant to deal with you, we can't sell a move to us as a chance to put yourself in the shop window to the bigger leagues and then refuse to allow that to happen.
In the modern game most of the negotiations are done by agents and that gets around any accusations of tapping up.
If MOR is looking to move, whether it happens or not, his agent will more than likely have verbally agreed personal terms with at least one club already.}

Thanks Ed, clarified that for me?

If there is a chance he is going, like Oh, I sincerely hope we have been looking at a replacement, along with Bernardo coming back, as he will be a big miss.
