Edd, Is there any chance of MOR actually staying. All Av heard is these team want him but nothing from him and he's just signed a new improved contract ?‍♂️.

{Ed007's Note - I'll be really surprised if MOR is still here when the window closes as there is a lot of interest and someone will eventually match our price.
I think the only chance of him staying is if Rodgers can convince him to stay on another year to have a crack at the CL with us and if our signings show the level of ambition to improve at that level, I was hopeful that us being in the CL would keep him here unless another CL team came in for him but when you see the clubs sniffing around him he can sign for another (higher level) CL team.}

If MOR wants to go now the BR shouldn't stand in his way, his stock is really high after season he had last season so if the price matched move him on and reinvest. This is the model, I mean we could keep him and he gets a bad injury and it holds him well back and then we don't get nowhere near as much cash. So in opinion his stock is really high right now, set the price and as long as he wants the move then move him on. I have said all along I thought he would fancy Italy or Spain instead of England and I stand by that and I also think in going there it may mean slightly less cash than going to England.

Again it's pure speculation but I read we are looking for £25m up front + £3-5m in addons.
That would be some turnaround on a player we got for £1.5m.

I saw a post saying Celtic have offered him 40,000 a week to stay 1 more season. But I don’t know how true that would be.
