What are your thoughts on Hatate guys? Great start for the first year under Ange then unfortunately, missed a lot of last season through injury. Do you think BR fancies him?

Hatate is a great player but it’s a worry he’s had 4 muscle injuries since March 2023.

On his day he's a cracking player, last year was a struggle, due to the injuries.
I've read quotes from him saying he's interested in playing in other countries, which is fair enough.
I have a feeling that this coming season may be his last in the Hoops, if so, let's hope Reo stays fit and
he goes out with a treble.

Ability wise, he has it, but stamina is an issue. Not just because of the injuries. Kyogo and Maeda will run all day but i think it shows that Hatate didn't play in top tier in Japan until the season before we bought him. I think I remember reading this. I don't think he has the stamina to last 90 mins all that often and if we got a big offer id take it.

Hatate is brilliant and has a great attitude. I think we need to persevere and hope he gets past the injury problems.

BR has come out a few times and criticised him losing the ball alot. His xT and xP was pretty bad in a fair few games. But when he's on he's key to how we play. And when he's injured we don't have anyone similar. I'd still like us to sign someone else to replace his creativity when aubbed or injured. And if I was to choose I'd rather we sold him over O'Riley as he's easier to replace.

I hope BR doesn’t fancy him, because if BR only plays players he fancies it might be difficult for new players to break into the ist eleven.
I think Hatate is a superb midfielder, but I think when he is coming back from injury he tries to force passes that are either not on, or he hasn’t got his timing and skill back to make them .
When fully fit and use to playing with the players around him he can light up a game in an instance, He is neither the tallest or strongest and often doesn’t last the whole 90 mins.
