If our captain isn't on the team sheet they will get an immediate psychological boost. Even if plays a part for me he has to start and in doing so they will be disheartened and we will get the confidence of his leadership. Having him on the bench is no good as the game could be won/ lost in 45 mins. Get him on and if he breaks down then so be it, it is surely worth the risk as a defeat and it's curtains. Bernardo is more of a big game player than Iwata for me as next choice.

Think iwata is better defensively than bernado so if calmac don't make it then for me it's hatate m. o. r and iwata . that's also why I wouldn't sign him think it's money wasted as he's not better than our other 4 Attacking mids. imo every player we buy in the summer has to be better than those we currently have .

If he is not fully fit, they won't be disheartened long, once they realise they have control of the midfield.
