I'm not going to be too critical of the players. This year's CL is the result of failing to strengthen the team, pure and simple. A few brave performances but, ultimately, way short of genuine quality where it matters. I think McGregor's performances have been indicative of this. I said last week he hasn't impressed me at all this season and was told that he's been bossing games this season. I've yet to see it.

Come on bhoys. The score flattered the cheats as Rodgers knew the game was up at 2-0 and make 5 changes to give others a taste of CL footy.

We need a big January window, 2 or 3 quality players, with experience at this level who can take the pressure of CL games.

We have young players who are going to get much better and with added quality, will hopefully see our performances in Europe improve.

The players will hurt after last night but the experience will hopefully make them stronger.

A few showed last night that they are not CL level players. I am not going to name names but improving our quality is now paramount.

I really thought that we were going to put on a performance last night but the red card affected the whole team, instead of increasing rheir resolve it made them question if they were good enough.
