It's a very complicated situation over there, not straight forward, so the club, (like me) should have made no comment.

They have invited criticism and challenge from club supporters.

Poor decision.

Ed, for me they could have said they were supporting players who's families may be involved but otherwise they should have left it alone, if they disagreed with what the GB did.

We cannot claim to welcome all but not include some.

I agree it is hypocrisy what has been said, because we all know what has gone on historically at our club, so that is why I am surprised they made any comment.

I also accept some on here will have a differing view.

{Ed007's Note - "A club open to all" refers to race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, etc It is not, and should not be twisted to be an excuse to accept or hold abhorrent views supporting the factions that are directly responsible for so much poverty and suffering across the world whether that be the US, UK or the State of Israel. History will not look down well on the State, of Israel, just like the butchers and murderers of the failed British Empire, Apartheid South Africa etc the world of the future will see them for what they are.
Would a Totenkopf flag be acceptable at Celtic Park because we are "A club open to all"?}

Marco, was there not a very large political banner midweek? Where was the "club's" statement then? Or is it just political banners of their choosing that are allowed? A club the last time I checked is made up of members. The members of a football club are everybody associated with it, mainly the fans, who like all members of society will have different views. The "club's" statement does not reflect the views of all it's members.
