Buzz maybe one for you mate.
The season ends in June because of the world cup we were told.
Yet last few weeks we have had free midweeks which could have had fixtures and we could easily finish season normally.
Also obviously given players extra time off, any idea why they didn't do that?

I would guess it’s to keep players ticking over, who have a couple of crucial International matches to play, in the middle of June.

Those same 5 post split fixture dates were given before the season started and it’s probably got to do with Scotland playing in June.
