If that's the true standard of the CL qualifiers, it just shows how badly we under performed in the past. ? But anyway ???.

Now I'm not sticking up for Sevco and I will have a good laugh at my mates tomorrow but I think a lot of people were kidding themselves on thinking that this would be an easy tie.
Union were actually 1st in their league and had beaten Anderlecht 4 times last year.
There league then does into a playoff like what happens in Rugby League ans the MLS and the ended up 2nd.
They were the first team ever to be promoted and then be sitting 1st going into the playoffs.
Oh and if the dark side think they will take care of the tie at Mordor, Union also won 14 out of 17 away games last season and are built to hit on the counter attack.

Sevco could well win at Ibrox HT but my understanding is that these guys are set up to play on the counter and, as they proved last night, they're not chopped liver.

I think sevco will struggle in the second leg. This team enjoy playing on the counter and mordors defence aren't that great. They will concede and they may struggle to score enough goals. I think it will be a score draw. They will go in the europa and we get an additional 2 million. Life is good in green and white.
