Am I alone in thinking that Siegrist should be given an extended run in the first team?
I like Hart, I like his attitude and his professionalism but there's a part of me that thinks he is too prone to making mistakes. HH.

Joe is a riot with the ball at his feet but that’s the way the boss wants him to play.

The fact is though he’s the one player in the Celtic team that couldn’t be replaced last year and is the biggest reason we won the league.

No Joe Hart no league title.

For that reason alone he should remain no.1.

You won't be alone in thinking that I'm sure but Joe brings much more than being a top class keeper at celtic and I can't see him being shifted anytime soon ?.

Last season he was immense for us, and he’s had a few preseason games and you want him dropped. A bit harsh if I’m being honest . Can you not remember when we had barkas and Bain . Mistakes every week.
I’d be happy to give siegrist cup games though but hart has to start league games.

He’s a winner and that was felt right through the team.

His face walking around the pitch after every game particularly at GB corner was a joy to behold.

All praise is none enough for Joe Hart last season.

It's good wee have two good keepers should keep Joe on his toes knowing he got a fight on his hands for no1 never had that last year really.

Joe is like having another captain on the field, organising the back line and not scared to tell players when they have made a mistake. One of our best signings last year.

Benji is a top class keeper that if say for example Hart missed 2 or 3 games through injury he may find it hard to get his place back. It's a good problem to have.

IMO, Joe Hart was the leagues best GK last season and our goals conceded would go some way to backing that up.

He made some tremendous saves, at time when he had no right to.

Like CG under BR, Hart isn't the best with the ball at his feet, no doubt, but what he brings to the team on and off the park is immense and he was a huge factor in Celtic being crowned champions.

Joe Hart never caused Celtic any league points last season, unlike Allan McGregor.
Joe had a howler against AZ Alkmaar but Celtic still qualified.
Himself and young Montgomery let the ball in at Pittodrie but Celtic still won 2-1.
Joe was in no mans land, when Dundee got a consolation at Dens in our 4-2 victory.
I can’t think of any other mistakes that were punished by our opponents last season.
It was a magnificent first season at Celtic for Joe Hart and hopefully that continues.

A lot of people are saying this and that about Hart and that Benji should get a chance But Hart is doing exactly what Ange has asked him to do and if Benji comes in, who is to say that he will be any better.
What happens if we do bring Benji in and CCV passes the ball to him and he slips and we lose a goal, will people be asking for a new keeper to be brought in or young Tobi to be brought in.

Talking about Hart ye good goalie but rotten under pressure with ball at his feet. He's slow and indesisve. He needs to blooter the ball away. We don't have to pass constantly at the back keeing things safe is an option.
He also puts our defence under pressure.
Yes he is a good goalkeeper with many game winning saves which is the the part he makes it all up on.
As for the loudness on the park its way over the top that's my tuppence worth ?. He gets involved but imo to much.
A nudge a wiper positivity is always better and helps.

BestyBhoy you are not alone, I would play Seigrist in the European games, Joe Harte just isn't good enough for anything other than domestic football, it isn't that he makes huge mistakes against better opposition, it's that he is no longer able to make the sort of instinctive save that covers defenders mistakes, The rangers were hammered and under the cosh in a lot of their games in their Europa cup run last season but McGregor saved their bacon, and the run continued untill the final, but with us, Joe just stood there like a statue, and the talk was that so and so made a mistake, and Joe couldn't do anything about it, and that's what really happened if you go and look at our euro games and compare them to theirs.
