Celtic will raise the Championship League flag on Sunday July 31st at home to Aberdeen with a 4.30pm kickoff time.
Celtic are due to play a home game against St. Mirren on the same weekend as the League Cup Semi- Finals on January 14th.
High profile league fixtures have been scheduled for the same weekend as the 2023 League Cup Final on Sunday February 26th.
Celtic are scheduled to play at home to Hibs on February 25th and Sevco are away to Hearts on the same day.
I don't think the Scottish Cup dates have been released yet.

gedceltic,
Away to Aberdeen will be our first game involving VAR, followed by further away matches away to Hibs and Sevco within a fortnight.
Baptism of fire.

Other than Juranovic, i don't think there's much chance of any of our players getting near the final.

{Ed007's Note - Did you see what the Croatia manager said about Juranovic and Barasic.}

So troops we thinking VAR will get the go ahead at start of the season?
Wil it be ready?

{Ed007's Note - Var isn't scheduled to start until after the winter break for the World Cup, Andy.}

December 2022, VAR = less penalties for Sevco

I still think VAR will cause loads of controversy and argument. If Sevco end up on the wrong end of a decision, it will be the usual outcry, moves to ban referees, appeals and hunners of dossiers.

It sometimes can be exciting waiting for the ref to make that decision. The pressure. Ye wil slow celtic down a littl tho.
Let's try it.
We complain a lot about refs mistakes when we score etc just the players need to just wait till the attack is over just finish it see what the VAR says after thanks lads for info.

I agree OAB2 but let's be honest, Sevco and their deluded followers will never be happy.

If people think VAR will stop Sevco getting there penalties need to have a look at the England v Germany game that was on the other night.
England were given a penalty which the ref didn't give until VAR got involved but VAR conveniently ignored the Kane was clearly offside.
If its the same idiots that are in there wee VAR booth making the decisions who just now make the same decisions on the park then nothing will change.

Celtic and Sevco will drop a lot more points when VAR comes into effect.

We will see "Penalty to Rangers" much more next season. They'll look for any minute infringement to award them a penalty and it'll be the same against us. Anything to disallow or award penalties against us.
