The Celtic By Numbers website used a neutral English referee by the name of "The Yorkshire Whistler" throughout the season.
The neutral referee looked at crucial decisions in league games involving Celtic and also league matches involving Sevco from the whole of last season.
The Final Outcome Confirmed there was a few "Honest Mistakes" and Celtic should've won the league by an extra FIVE POINTS.
A few fans don't think VAR will make any difference but I believe VAR will be good for Celtic and not so good for the Ibrox club.

Buzz did you see the referee in the Woman's Cup Final kept up the "honest mistakes tradition" but STILL our Ghirls overcame it to win Cup.

No Timalloy.
My dad and my son both mentioned it.
The woman did well to win both cups.

VAR will only be successful up here if we have neutral refs in the VAR studio.
Anything else will be more of the same ably supported by the 'men in black' behind the scenes.

My biggest issue with VAR is why WE, the paying customers, are not allowed to view the same footage the VAR team and/ or the referee sees when reviewing an incident?

Furthermore, why are we not allowed to hear the conversations taking place between the on-field officials and the studio "experts? "

Finally, it should be made very clear that the end decision is made by the on-field referee and he/ she can't hide behind the "making an invisible TV shape" and basically saying THEY made the decision!

This, to me anyway, would show full and clear transparency!

While I'm fantasising, I would also like the £180 million Euro Lottery Jackpot.

I've said for a while that football should be more like rugby in that you get to hear the discussions between the ref and the VAR guy and also like the NFL where the Ref goes on loud speak to let the crowd know what the decision was for.
People may not always like or agree with the decision but at least you get to hear why it was made.

I still have my doubts about VAR Buzz; because it's again down to interpretations, camera angles and opinions by the usual suspects. Over the season I have seen numerous controversial decisions in the EPL that divided opinion during and after the games and I think there may have been an occasions where officials have had to apologize?
