I received ED007 permission to put up this wee Heads Up/ Warning

With all the big race meetings coming up in next couple of months I just wanted to tell you of my experience of signing up and paying money to one of those professional tipsters.
For Cheltenham and the Grand National meetings I joined for £10 on both occasions, I received some decent tips and made a profit, all for £20 I was a happy bunny. They had "Sucked" me in.
But then I started getting "invites" to join the tipster Telegram channel, which is private and unregulated unlike Youtube which have rules. This is why they set up their own Telegram channels solely to make as much money as they can. I got "offers" supposed "big discounts" for £99 six months or £199 12 months, and as they had my details the emails and texts were relentless, trying to pressure me into parting with as much money as they could squeeze out of me.
This is their tactic, make big promises about "insider information" and to "get on early"
luckily I was able to resist and I blocked them and deleted them from my mobile, but others may get sucked in.
My advice is think very carefully about joining these type of tipsters.
In America they have a name for them Grifters (con men trying to fleece punters out of money)
Mrs T now calls me MUGGINS and it is hard to argue against her.
Just be careful who you give your details to.
Hail hail.

My tip is just don't bet as it is a mugs game and can leave you and your family in ruins.

{Ed007's Note - But people won't pay £9.99 a month for you to tell them that.}

True lol.

{Ed007's Note - I'm not a fan of gambling, AAW but Tim seems to know the game and only bets with a percentage of winnings. I said at time I was surprised he had even joined this app and I've roasted him in an email that he better have learnt his lesson.
But imagine if that was someone with a gambling problem that's affecting their lives and their families, it's so easy to get sucked in with these scams.
Remember 0898 numbers on teletext for all the latest from your club, the best racing tips, cheats for the latest computer games and even Big Senga fae up the top scheme kidding on she was Pamela Anderson, all these clickbait sites and sites offering inside info are just the modern equivelant.
I have a strong opposition opinion to the way gambling has become a normal part of the footballing experience and the influence these companies have in the game on and off the field.
Sly Sports News is basically a vehicle to support and encourage SkyBet.}
