I am sorry to report that the Celtic board have finally lost their self respect.

With this gig in Oz it is clear that Rangers get TWO "Green Pounds" to the "Blue Pound". How has it come to this that the board is settling for this atrocious exchange rate of six million "Green Pounds" to 3 million of their "Blue Pounds"?

No wonder they think we are a laughing stock!

The figures are arbitrary CamyleBhoy, and you are correct, the money on offer will not be anywhere near that, although such figures have been reported by some. So took the highest values for dramatic effect!

It is a comment on how they think this mighty "blue pound" is the mainstay of Scottish football in their minds. We can't do without it apparently. Yet, here they are, allowing their proud selves to be prostituted by our club for way less money than we are purported to be getting. If they want to be the Sideshow Bob to our Krusty for a few quid then what does that say about them?

On a personal note - I don't get it. Why would our board agree to a venture that would help them balance the books? I get we might get more as a result but surely that is muddle headed thinking? It's akin to being in a wild West shootout with the man in black having fired all his six shots, and then giving him a couple of bullets to get back in the fight when his Colt is empty- totally baffling to me.

I hope fan power (if such a thing even exists with our board) wins out but I can't see it somehow. Pick a Japanese team and two Ozzy teams - we might get less but they would get nowt.

I read the rangers forum over there page and weird thing is they have a poll for who wants this rangers jaunt to aussia land. They are split in the middle. At one point the majority is for it.
So don't be fooled by the 5/ 6 who post most bigoted garbage which matches there mindset if they win or if they lose on a weekly basis as its obvious they don't speak for themajority of the rangers fans. As when I checked the majority of rangers fans want it but it was not by much tho.
