Was it just me or was referee chronic.

{Ed007's Note - I said the same on the live chat and say it on the podcast all the time, we need to call out poor refereeing performances even when we win games otherwise it looks like sour grapes when we drop points.
And not just us, it's time managers, players and fans from all clubs joined together to get it sorted out.}

Totally agree, Ed. You raise a good point about all clubs joining together, because despite what a lot of people think about the Lanarkshire mafia the guy today didn't have an agenda as he was booking St Johnstone players for fun. He was just mince. If I habitually performed like that at work I'd get my jotters.

We got lucky decision with the goal I wish our fans would stop the blaming refs I find it embarrassing. I know i will get slated and called All sorts but it's my opinion yes refs are poor in scoltland that's for a fact but not only against us.

But for the record there has been cases of proven bias over the years and I don't care what anyone says, if you grow up supporting a team, any team, it's hard wired into your psyche and it's very hard to sway your brain away from that, why don't we adopt the English system of refs having to declare teams they support or have/had season tickets for and you aren't allowed to be involved in their games? Why do the majority of refs come from Lanarkshire, is there no refs in Perth, Aberdeen or Edinburgh?
The whole refereeing system in football needs overhauled by UEFA if they are serious about fair play, look what happened in Italy with Calciopoli, look at Germany with VAR a few years back, look what's went on in Scotland over the years, it's time that the main European body took over the entire refereeing system and worked it accordingly.
Football is more corrupt now that it ever has been and that is down to the influence of gambling companies on the game - there's a string of thought on certain (well respected btw) websites that look into this stuff and the biggest fix in sport was Leicester winning the Pub League, and one of the dirtiest players in the game is a certain John Colquhoun and some of his agent friends.}

So lads referee terrible. So what can we do about this. Who do we report it to.

{Ed007's Note - It's not about reporting it, Andy, it's about the clubs that run the game - the SPFL is the clubs - and sorting out the entire system. We need to move away from the jobs for the boys scenario and looking to get young guys from all over the country involved.
I think the laws of the game are something that young players should be taught as part of their development and if they don't make it as a player being an official is an option open to them.}

I do apologise I miss read what yous were saying had a couple of beers sorry. Yeah I do agree there we definitely need to get the refs standards up as it's costing teams in games cause their poor decisions. I don't believe the biased stuff but that's just me and my opinion not to say am right.

Modi’s anyone see Bobby Madden RED card the Aberdeen player who got assaulted by the fan. Disgraceful.

No on should be assaulted at their work and Madden has literally rewarded the fan for assaulting a player.
