I've been complaining about the elite Lanarkshire referees on here for years and not only since Celtic lost the league.
In our 8 in a row season, I highlighted 18 off the ball incidents against Celtic players that the referees missed in one season.
It was only the linesman that told Madden to send Morelos off for elbowing Brown.
A few of the other incidents resulted in retrospective bans, big deal.
I will only call it if I have the facts and figures to back up my theories.
I want to share interesting statistics about Don Robertson's games involving Celtic and Sevco.
He's been the referee in 32 Sevco matches.
Some where from their lower league days and Sevco have only won 19 games, drawn 8 and lost 5 matches.
Don Robertson has been a lucky charm for Celtic.
He's been the referee in 22 Celtic games and we have won 19 games and drawn 3 matches.
In the last 4 and a half years, Celtic have won 16 games in a row with Robertson as the referee.
In those last 16 games, Celtic have scored an astonishing 48 goals and conceded only 4 goals.
Celtic have also kept 13 clean sheets in those 16 games.
The 3 exceptions were a 1-1 draw at home to Ross County under Ronnie.
A 2-2 draw in Inverness in our Invincible season, when ICT scored a last minute equaliser.
The last game Celtic didn't win was in April 2017 away to Ross County in another 2-2 draw in our Invincible season.
Don Robertson was clearly conned in the last minute when the Ross County player dived in the box.
They scored the penalty and then the red mist came over Scott Brown who got sent off in injury time.
Robertson has been the referee in 2 Sevco league matches this season and Sevco have dropped 5 points.
I think Don Robertson in ready for his first Glasgow Derby. ?
I'm not always against the referees in Scotland. If I notice something, I will back it with facts and figures.

{Ed007's Note - I've spoke about it on the podcast a few times, Buzz, why is there no refs from places like Aberdeen, Dundee or Perth? The entire refereeing system in Scotland needs a major overhaul, I'd go as far as to say it should be UEFA that provide referees to leagues across Europe.}

I’m only a month older than you Ed. and we grew up with referees from all over Scotland.
But now all the Grade One referees come from a stone throw away from their Lanarkshire base, it’s not right.
I guessing this was Allowed to happen because the system has made it impossible for future referees from other areas, due to not having another referee base further North.
I like your idea about foreign referees for domestic games, especially if we don’t bring in VAR.

I was never one to get on this debate over the years but last year was so blatant the unseen Masonic hand had a hand in something lol . There is something rotten to the core with the decisions they get .
