Carter vickers signs on loan. I am very happy at signings we have made this summer and also managed to get shot of some deadwood as well.

The board have done well.

Carter Vickers I'm glad is only in on loan so we can assess before we buy instead of panic buying and potentially wasting the cash. Didn't realise he's only 6ft, even Starfelt is slightly taller and doesn't look much of a presence on the pitch!

Turner1984 I agree mate. Just glad we have strengthened CB positions to avoid problems we had last season.

Scales I reckon once settled into team, will play a mixture of games at CB and LB. Think he is 6ft 4. Meant to be highly rated, was on trial at Man City last season.

Jason Denayer was only 6ft and he wasn't to bad.

Greentree I totally accept height isn't everything, Puyol was only 5,10 but what a CB he was, however I just think we need a tall presence in games like the old firm where their team tower us on set plays.
