I posted a wee financial summary a few weeks back coming to the end of the transfer window I just wanted to post an update.

I see Celtic revenue as the following for this year

General Revenue - £65-70m
European Related Revenue £14-17m
Transfer Profit - £29-32m
That means a revenue this year iof between £108 - £119m

Costs will be
Running Costs 70-83m
Amortisation of Transfers - 11-13m
Exceptional Costs - 2-4m
So a worse case cost of £100m against a worse case revenue of £108m

I am stunned the board haven't spent at least another 7-8m which would equate to about 2-3m amortised this season still leaving a very tidy profit.

I am not trying to be negative but I don't think there are excuses there and asking fans to fork out another £72 to increase the shareholders profit is a joke. I have defended the board on the financial but this transfer window / season is reeking of short changing.

We will easily post a 10m profit this season even if we push the boat and spend another 10m.

T without knowing the numbers I posted earlier about ins and outs and that we could easily push the boat out a bit further, great post mate interesting reading.

UI there will be a loan fee for Jota taken into that.

If we sign Jota for £6m over 4 years we would add £1.5m to our costs for this year.

No Ken Like

Our year end finished on 30/ 6

To be fair the board needed the sales last year of Frimpong etc abs we will still have lost 7-10m easy. But the 5 years previously we have made multiple millions over many seasons.

And for comparison just to relieve the Twitter BS TRIFC have lost £50m in the last 5 years that doesn’t include their last year which will have the biggest C.V. hit so I would expect them to be recording 5 year losses of £65-70m.

I was going to wait until the end of play before giving you a shout out TBhoy. Does seem to me that a bit more could be spent with Ajer and Edouards fees dwarfing the incomings. Maybe that'll be in January targets from Japan?
