people going on about ange not changing it yesterday.

we had nothing on the bench to change it wee need at least another 3 players so we have strong bench. i am disappointed about the result but excited still as i see a great team on the way for us. once this team gets right up to speed we will be unstoppable. remember we are 8 weeks into a project they are 4 year into there's and there was not that much of a difference they have at least 2 players for every position we are still getting a squad together and all they could manage was a 1-0.

Totally agree UI. The difference in the 8 weeks to the team has been quite incredible. Yes, yesterday was a disappointing result however with 3/ 4 more signings to improve the squad, and strength of the bench we will really kick on. Only 4 games in. For an overhaul I thought would take two years, I really believe we will be champions come May.

UI, Iagree, I just don’t give a feck what happens on the other side of the house. We do our business well we win, we don’t we won’t.
So far we have done good business, I am giving some a longer time to bed in than others. My issue is that we have not and won’t even with 3 more incoming have done enough business to sustain us through the season, we are one bad knock away from a crisis, and have I have not even heard of any interest being shown to solidify the defence, central, we need a Bobo type in right away, our defenders are bullied and isolated. We need 5/ 6 of quality in and that’s a lot of spend which might shake the board.
I have said before here the manager should be judged on the 2 transfer windows he has this season and the minimum performance level of I the league title.

Good post UI, the lad Jota (left winger) and the Greek Striker are pretty much signed if reports are accurate.

I believe Ange was looking for another CB before yesterday's game anyway so I'm hopeful we can get a Mjallby/ Bobo style CB in.

Like you I take a lot of positives in how much Ange has done in such a short space of time.

The future is bright.

There was only one change that needed to be made at half time, and that was taking edouard off and playing Kyogo through the middle! I think this would have resulted in more chances created second half and possibly a different score line. As soon as the second half kicked off you could sense a Rangers goal was coming.

We were a better team with edouard off and kyogo through the middle so he could easily have changed it.

Malika,
if the Greek Striker and Jota sign that will be 11 players brought in during this window - so far.

I doubt, realistically, there's enough time to conclude another 5 or 6 deals but a CB would help a lot.

Squad rotation, particularly with the style we play, will be massive this season, as these guys will pick up knocks and will need to rest.

McCarthy and Julien will help with that, as will Montgomery and even young Murray (I'm thinking Cup games here) if Eddy and LG feck off then maybe Ajeti needs to get some minutes down the line.

I was working yesterday, so l was listening to the game on the radio, Mc Gregor seemed to be the only Celtic player in midfield that was causing Sevco problems during the 1st half, in the 2nd half Sevco made a point in marking Mc Gregor, and that was it, Turnbull and Christie were not in the game to make any difference to help Mc Gregor and the Celtic midfield in my opinion.

United Ireland although we lost, I feel very positive about progress we have made. Thought we were very unlucky and had Kyogo started game from centre, it would of been a very different game but we were short on options for LW.

Also had we had a natural LB available, I think it would of made a difference.

I was thinking the same regarding bench, looked limited regarding options.

How could he not change it. Your are aloud to change formation. Watch Abada stand out on the wing contributing nothing. Utter drivel he never had anything to work with. Going to Ibrox and playing with 10 men. To suit the one trick pony's only tactics.

Auf1888, we're not going to agree, however football is all about opinions so that's fine. I think though, that with the signings we have coming in, the players to come back from injury and with a bit more time on the training ground for Ange to implement his ideas, this "one trick pony" will have us celebrating a league title come May.

At least we agree he's a one trick pony.

The main change would have been on the pitch with Eddy and Kyogo switching after about twenty minutes seeing Eddy toiling. There was limited choice from the bench, but Turnbull and Abada should have been hooked long before they were to at least make it 11 v 11?

auff what would you have pulled out the bag with that bench think everyone that knows our squad would have been scratching there head looking at our bench to change things the only option really was rogic a player most fans wanted out before this season. as for abada being poor he got no service so there is nothing you can do if there is nothing coming up the wing your on get the ball up to abada and he is lethal.

it would have been differnt if abada was getting a lot play up his side and he was wasteful yes but that was not the case yesterday. mate the result was poor and disappointing but your acting as if its doomsday and ange is a poor manager. i think what he has did in 8 weeks prove he is a quality manager with some more players and a stronger bench to choose from to change things and more time with the squad we will see this team fly mate. you need to settle down mate.
