You know that football is knackered when Barcelona announce that they are 1.15bn in dent and their wages account for 105% of their total income. I'm certain that they are not the only club living outside their means and it shows that the Financial Fairplay rules are not working.

{Ed002's Note - They are referring to income excluding transfers and during a pandemic - it is not a matter related to FFP.}

With a bit of luck they go bang although don’t know if it would happen.

Any news on hickey if he’s playing or still open for a move back home?

CampsieBhoyy, As a watcher of Serie A if Hickey is not getting a game for Bologna then there is no way he would get a game for us at the moment. They just got pumped out of the cup from a 2nd tier team. Keep an eye out for Sydney Van Hooijdonk for Bologna this year tho, Big Pierre van Hooijdonk's son looks like he will be a player in years to come. HH.

I'm afraid it does relate to FFP rules and reports suggest that they will have to raise over 100m in player sales to comply with the rules. With PSG signing Messi it is suggested that they will fall foul of the rules as well.

{Ed002's Note - Barcelona's issues with FFP relate to wages. PSG do not have a problem with FFP. You had best stay clear of the finances.}

No Home gate income, shop shirt sales and stadium tours, must have made at least a £200 million dent in their finances.

Ed002 - That's what I said but also mentioned Barcelona being over a Billion in debt although apparently for some reason debt isn't brought into the FFP equation. All the reports are suggesting that PSG will fall foul of FFP unless you have information to suggest otherwise.

{Ed002's Note - Then whatever reports you are reading are wrong.}
