Looking ahead to az and was browsing at their stats from last season. came third scored 73 conceded 41 had a great season . we had a nightmare season but scored 77 conceded 29 . the leagues are of a similar standard although they have more stronger teams at the top end but not a great deal . they have lost 3 of their best players and could possibly lose another two before they meet us . hoefully koopmeirs and wyndal who if they're still with them I'm looking forward to watching . they are slightly weaker than last season whereas we are imo stronger than last season . by the time we play them we will have had 7 competitive games under our belt they will have played one . I for one am far more confident going into these games than the midtyland games. think we'll win it by the odd goal but hopefully cruise it .

I think as far as qualifiers go, AZ are a difficult prospect but if we were to draw them in the groups I don't think too many people would be overly worried.

Thanks for the encouraging analysis deep river bhoy. Hope you’re right. We’re getting stronger for sure, and it sounds like they are weaker than last year.

A bit of a leaky defence then. Need to get a decent result Wednesday as they'll have the home advantage if it goes to extra time the following week.
