I no you have to look at the standard of opponents, but I thought yesterday was awesome. I know it's early days but at last there is hope, hop.

Agreed
As you know this is the type of game we usually see teams like Dundee etc up there level and we drop points. That's why I was happy we stopped them playing. I don't think I breathed the whole game as it was edge of chair stuff. We played incredible. I knew our fitness level improved but that was full on for 80 mins. I actually thought I seen Christie smile which was gd. Also what a difference a week makes Turnbull was like night and day he also seems to be adapting to our new way of playing.
Every player turned it on. I still think Taylor is not up to speed yet but at least we know every player will to improve or as Ange said he won't play them. Thursday full house let's keep this momentum going.

What did Taylor do wrong yesterday I watched him for 90 minutes because of the flak he takes?

Gave the ball away a good few times in the first half 🍀.

Taylor playing yesterday. It was all one way traffic and i can't remember him contributing anything on the left. Take his counterpart on the right Carlos Ralston was involved all day.

We all see something different. I thought the ropiest performance was the new centre half. Ralston did very well though and was delighted to see him grab a goal. There wasn’t a failure. Welsh did well. Christie was excellent and had it not been for hat trick could have been man of the match. Turnbull didn’t do much wrong. McGreggor looked like a captain. I said last week the wee man up fronts goal on his debut was Larssonesque lifting it over keeper plus the pace he showed. He was absolutely sensational yesterday even allowing for the opposition. Early days but he has the potential to be the best since Henrik. By all accounts a very humble guy and nice gesture giving the match ball away. I liked Abada too. Great way to return to Parkhead. Big Ange could be the man. Eddie Howe was a bullet dodged. They’ve written us off at their peril.

I also thought Starfelt is still struggling to adapt, but Welsh was a much better partner than Bitton. Taylor was OK yesterday, but has been caught for pace and loses possession in previous games, while Ralston has not only buckled down and covers every inch of the park, he is also coming up with goals (with his left foot as well) .
However, we still need two players for every position and I look forward to seeing what squad we have assembled after the window?

Jfp I just think Taylor’s too 1 foot for the position he plays, when closed down he panics every time and plays it out yet most of the time it goes to opposition 🍀.

Let's get 4 or 5 performances like that in a row before we all get carried away.

But the forward play was magnificent. So direct, so fast.

Unrecognisable from last season.

I want Taylor to get better it's his final ball it always hits a defender when he crosses it or it goes astray. He needs to be more cute. He breaks up play. He also gets a lot of the ball. He's playing inside a little which is better for him. He's a fit lad so it's not fitness maybe confidence as it's only his last moments with the ball he scuppers the rest is gd. I think Ange wil improve him.
He is young so he can improve.
