Ed was wondering if you could shed any light on the situation with Christie? He is looking like a new player but I have heard so many different stories about his contract and him wanting out . Would he be interested in signing a new contract?
{Ed007's Note - Christie asked Celtic for wages of circa £30k a week, Celtic said no and that was that. Reading between the lines of what Ange has said tonight there is a contract offer on the table and it's up to Christie if he wants to stay and it's out of his and Celtic's hands. I expect him to move on before the window closes unless he has had a massive change of heart. Him and his circle have been trying to drum up interest in him for the last 18 months and there is plenty of teams sniffing around but I don't know of any concrete offers.}

If we don't pay him 30k a week there will be plenty down south who will, especially when they will get him for next to nothing. He was rotten last season but they all were. Taking away last season he has probably been our best performer since he broke into the team. His performance today was exceptional.

I am big christie fan but not at 30k/ wk that's a naw from me Ed I think he needs to be reminded you not be consistent to earn that kind of dough broonie's influence was more than just playing let him fight relegation.
