Getting nervous now about tomorrow, but if ange who I really like has any sense he'll play bain, and bin the playing from the back, barkas maybe slightly better with ball but can't do the basics, bain at least makes saves and that's the bottom line, and If we get through and it's a big if we need to get a keeper ASAP, and if we haven't been looking then they aren't doing their job .

An analyst has compared Barkas and Bain to Gordon and Forster.
Barkas is the best with the ball at his feet and he is also the best at cross balls.
But Barkas save rate is well below average.
Bain has average figures but is more likely to make a mistake out of the 4 keepers.
Craig Gordon and Fraser Forster have above average figures.

you think the manager, who you really like, should bin his whole philosophy and style of play?

{Ed007's Note - 😂

Buzz right now a want my keeper to be able to save the ball, if we have to kick it then kick it till we get the right guy In, BTW they stats are a joke barkas is murder at crosses as well, bain all day long imo.

i really like the pieces your talking about buzz its content, he's done one today on the injury list under previous managers, i think most of bains mistakes come with the ball at his feet.

Thats right if you don't have the players then you don't play the system, it's no rocket science, once ge gas the right personnel then great, do we want our fbs getting a lot of possession, young Murray on Sat got slack and we got punished,

you might be right, but everything i've read, heard and seen of ange thus far indicates he won't be changing his style of play regardless of the players at his disposal or the pressure on him.

Well below average lol. He's only saved shots that's been straight at him (excluding last weeks) yet to see him dive and make a save in a competitive game. If it's not straight at him it's a goal. De Vries was the same in goal. Is there a stat comparison between De Vries and Barkas Buzz? What good is being good with the ball if you can't make a save.

Build from the back when it's safe to do so, don't be playing 1,2's in our 6 yard box for example but as Mally says if we need to kick it kick it. I like Ange's pressing but with more experienced defenders they will drop back that bit sooner and we won't get out for pace with balls in behind👍.

The opposition can't score malky if the balls up the park, am all for playing from the back but only if we have the players, and I would guess ange knows he doesn't.

DLBIA, on the piece that buzz is talking about de vries passing percentage was actually poor considering that's what he was brought in for.

Don’t look back in Ange,
Liam is correct that only Forster was worse than De Vries with the ball at his feet.
De Vries save rate was slightly better at 56% than Barkas at 51%.
De Vries was also by far the worst at cross balls.

I'm glad Barkas nor Bain nor Hazzard, were in goal for that League Cup Final against Sevco.

They used to say build and invest in the spine of the team.

GK - we've got 3 keepers and none of them are even close to being good enough.

CB - Starfelt coming in but we need another to partner him / Welsh and Co are not first 11

LB - we need a player - Taylor back up

RB - we need at least one, possibly 2

Midfield - we need cover incase of injury/ suspensions (at least one player)

CF/ Striker - when Eddy goes what are left with? We need 2 new forwards, although from what I've read he may play the Japanese lad through the middle - I'd still like another option I. e. invest in a 20 goals a season player.

That's a minimum of 6 players for the first team. Am I wrong?

Mally I've said for ages that we lack the quality to build from the back and got slaughtered for it. Not just us most teams are the same and it's actually embarrassing to watch so called pro footballers try to emulate Guardiola's Barca. The Howler in the St Mirren/ Dundee game a couple of seasons back cements my point. It gave me the fear when Ajer had the ball at his feet🤤😂😂.

Ajer is excellent with the ball at his feet. Never gave me the fear. Taylor picking it up in midfield however.

One of many odd signings from Rodgers was De Vries. You're right LL he was bought in to do that as he was meant to be one of the best but didn't look comfortable at all. I'm surprised the save percentage was that high Buzz lol. I still remember that howitzer the Killie player scored against De Vries. Must have been about 40 yards out and he still didn't get a hand to it lol.

Mally and Malky I’m in total agreement. There’s very few keepers even at epl la LIga bundes league level who able play to high level at both aspects of game. I’m sure Ange realises needs must. Bit of flexibility on tactics till all parts in place to fully implement I get he fixed on certain way of playing and I get he want start implement from the off So anges call basically I want so badly barkas succeed. For himself as much as us he’s had dogs abuse I’d love him Turn it around with a top level wonder save or vital block. That wins game. Something anything. To trigger what is an international keeper into life How long he going to get to try do that is the question I can’t believe we not already looking for another keeper.

It's not so much about relaxing his tactics, it's about knowing when to play it out from the back or when just get it tae f#@k!
