I rarely if ever say a player has to go when talking only about their ability. I've said it a few times when it's clear that some players don't want to be at Celtic but that's different, so I'm saying it now.
Barkas has to go. He will never come good. He even said himself some time ago that he doesn't like playing in goal. He didn't even become a keeper until he was late teens or something like that.
Maybe he's not happy in Glasgow, maybe he's not happy at Celtic, maybe there are a hundred other reasons why things aren't working out for him but at the end of the day things AREN'T working out for him. He's getting paid to be a goalkeeper. He's showing himself to be unhappy/ unsuitable etc. on a regular basis.
Our club is suffering on the pitch because of him (not only him though! ) and he has to go. He will NEVER come good, and if he does then I'll happily donate another £50 to Michael's NHS charity appeal.
It's a bet I'd be very happy to lose but I feel my money is safe. HH.

He wasn't 100% to blame Auf but did you see the gap he left at the front post and he was beaten before the penalty was struck!

Auf he wasn’t to blame but his positioning for Antonio’s first goal was terrible. He gave him the whole near post and half of the goal to roll it into.

Auf he's awful, he could at least made it hard for the boy to score, he doesn't make saves is poor at crosses and his kicking is average, he never shouts or commands his back 4,he hardly looks fussed when he loses a goal, its incredible that's what we are considering for wed, uts bain all day till we get a keeper.

Auf1888 his positioning is atrocious, he isn't a keeper full stop, he's useless and that's being polite. Plenty keepers in the world miles better than him!

Turner1984, he actually isn't a bad keeper. In fact I'd go as far as saying he's pretty decent, but only when he's happy with his life.
He isn't happy in Glasgow and it's affecting everything he does. He doesn't want to be here so we should let him go even if it means we take a big hit on his fee. HH.

Auf besty clearly isn’t saying barkas has to go because of his performance today he’s sayin he has to go because he’s the worst keeper we’ve seen in a Celtic top in a long time but In my opinion he was poor for at least 2 hammers goals, and he didn’t cover himself in glory with the pen either.

I can only remember Barkas having one outstanding game and it was away to Ross County when we won 5-0.
Ross County hit the woodwork twice and Barkas had 5 good saves.
Apart from that match, I’m struggling to remember Barkas standing out for the right reasons.

I know Barkas isn't the long term solution but today wasn't on him. The new system Ange is playing will take time and his players to make it work. Was scary the room on the wings WH were getting with our full backs moving inside.
Not defending Barkas but he was shouting at defence today. We were laughing about it at game.

He was suspect for 1st, 2nd and 6th goal. Terrible position for all of them and no attempt to save cause of that. He is the worst goalie we ha e ever had, and we have had a few bad ones!

Bestybhoy your at it again, I presume you never played footy? My u14s keeper many moons ago wouldn't of left angles like that, Barkas had no awareness what so ever of his positioning, and the two saves he made I could've saved, poor finishing not great saves!

He maybe is good with the ball at his feet, so in that case why not chuck soro in goals?

Long story short Barkas needs to go, we need a solid shot stopper ASAP.

And finally pal please lay off the crack pipe because your posts are honking, im struggling to cope with the nonsense I have to read on the daily!
