Good morning Ed, bhoys and girls

Does anyone think siegrist would be a good signing in some sort of sawp deal for Bain, I think he could pose a good challenge to Barkas or his replacement, siegrist stats were good last season.

{Ed007's Note - We've spoke about Benjamin Siegrist a few times on the podcast and the general consensus is that he would be a good replacement for Bain as our No.2 and to push Barkas or A.N. Other for the No.1 spot.}

Barry, I think my uncle Jimmy could've pushed Barkas last season but he's 87 now and in a care home.

Seriously though, Bain for me needs to go and although I think yer man from Dun Utd is slightly better than Bain, I think we need 2 far better keepers than the three mentioned in this post.

I think he'd be an upgrade on Bain and if there was an opportunity to bring in somebody like Begovic I think that would help Siegrist and Barkas.

Ed, Kev I agree I think he would at least be a good back up Gk, and a swap done would be beneficial to all parties, Begovic is a good shout.

Pedro you made me laugh bud, I'm split on Barkas, maybe this season he might prove his worth, he was highly rated, there was many aspects that could of affected him this season, maybe he will get another chance under a proper coach and take it with both hands.

{Ed007's Note - Begovic would have been a good option on a free but he still has a year to run on hid deal at Bournemouth.}
