I think if Howe is confirmed as the manager, he should make it his number one priority to try and get Eddy to sign a new contract.

His goal the other night reminded me of what he's capable of. His attitude and effort this season though have been disgraceful and for that he won't be remembered fondly. I wanted him dropped permanently after the Glasgow Derby in March.

Too many of the current squad are 'past the point of no return'. May it be loan spell expired and cheerio, Celtic careers at a dismal end, or attitude and effort well short of what is required at Celtic. Restrictions have let a lot of them off lightly, as I am certain the vocal reaction of the support during our disastrous season would have put the fear of god into them and reminded them of their commitment. Anyway, too late for tears as they say and no matter how many 'cameo' roles they have produced after the fact, the door should hit them on smack on the arse on their way out. New manager, new players and a return to old values, traditions and winning ways. HH.

Eddy was afflicted, not just by the C.V., but by the general malaise that affected the whole team, a malaise caused by the continual selection of players, (sometimes being played in a position, which was not their best ) that slowed down the creativity, leading to the team not providing Eddy with the sort of chances he thrives on, but these players were good Celtic men, and that was more important than how well the team played,

The only thing l would say pedro is that sometimes we can be arrogant when it comes to scottish players. We need to get a proper balance between both Scottish and foreign players. I would definitely take both lads. If they were 2 foreign lads l don't think it would get the reaction of negativity. Look at the last 2 left backs we brought in boli and laxalt. Would u think that young hickey playing in ltaly would be worse l don't. The lad knows the league and clearly has been doing well.

As regard Nisbet the lad is a goal scorer. Yes l know people say its hibs but look at what 5m got us from the EPL. A guy who apparently has a shocking attitude and who pretended to be injuried for a games. The other eddy wants away and his attitude this season has been a disgrace. And griffs is like ajeti is still not fit and looks so overweight he has an arse like a hippo in the shorts.
Nisbet is a goal scorer and if we can get him and more importantly he wants to come then l would get him. I would also do all we can to get Lewis ferguson too.

I know and hope it's just paper talk but are we hand picking players for howe without him even in the door. if it's him. I can't see both players inked with us been an improvement but I might be wrong HH.
